cBHT saved my life, or at least my livelihood. I was desperate to figure out why I was becoming severely depressed, having unexplained anxiety and experiencing hot flashes. My regular GP prescribed an antidepressant that had immediate negative effects and I stopped after one week. Thankfully I spoke with a friend who is an RN and pointed me toward a functional medicine doctor. This MD prescribed compounded progesterone and estrogen and within two weeks I was a different person. If I would have stayed on the antidepressants, which I did NOT need, I would have been struggling for the rest of my life. So many women need this natural compounded therapy vs all the synthetics through a regular western medicine MD. It changed my life and I tell other women it saved my life.

I am a 60 year old woman that started having menopause 10 years ago and had the typical hot flashes but also no sexual drive which for my husband was a problem. Since being on these compounded hormones, my life has completely turned around with all the side effects of normal menopause eliviated. I would hope that for not only my sake but the sake of younger people you would NOT place restrictions on compounded hormone therapy. The ONLY other treatment that I'm aware is horse urine that is completely detrimental to female mare horses.

Patients should be able to CHOOSE the type of hormone therapy that fits their individual needs. Once I found compounding BHT, I finally got my hormones balanced. I don't believe a "one pill fits all" is a good approach to hormone therapy, and it certainly didn't work for me. Each person has different needs and we should be able to get customized compounding to meet each person's specific needs.

cBHT has greatly impacted the way I feel. I started on the pill during my teenage years to control PMS symptoms. As I moved into my late 30's, I no longer need to be on it. I knew there would be a transition in going off of it, but after months of my body not adjusting to a routine cycle, the only option given to me was to go back on the pill. I took that advice and although it regulated by cycle, it impacted me significantly. It was after months of struggling physically and mentally that I was introduced to cBHT. Within a month, my cycle was regulated AND I felt great. It is the perfect dose for me. I have worked closely with my doctor to monitor my body and have made the necessary adjustments to be on the lowest dosage possible. It is the ideal support without taking a generalized prescription option. I cannot imagine how I would feel without it and truly believe there is no alternative to offer the support that my cBHT provides.

cBHT has affected my life in a tremendous and positive way. I used to use Andro-gel. It worked for a short time at first. My testosterone levels then began to fall to an unacceptable level. Then my physician switched me to a compounding pharmacy, for my testosterone medication. My levels improved, and it is now at a consistent level. I only need to use one forth of the commonly prescribed dose. Insurance will cover the Andro-gel, but not the compounding pharmacy formula. It is puzzling for me, to wonder why insurance, will pay for something that has little benefit for me, but will not pay, for a product, that works perfectly well for my situation. I pray that you do not interfere with my health, and restrict my access to testosterone medication, through my compounded hormone therapy.
