I also take this to help avoid osteoporosis by keeping the bones strong. I believe this bioidentical hormone therapy has less risk of cancer as opposed to synthetic hormone replacement. Please do not restrict hormone replacement therapy.

Because of uterine cancer and a complete hysterectomy at age 36, I need something that would work as HRT. I didn't like what I read about long term HRT the conventional way. My mother had breast cancer and so I did not want to take high levels of animal hormones. I took those until age 63 but was still having hot flashes and night sweats. I am a medical technologist so I found a doctor who would work with me on saliva testing annually and bioidentical hormones. Since I switched, I have been able to stop the night sweats and feel this is safer. I did not like knowing that horses were abused to produce estrogen. We have the right to try law and I will do all in my power to make sure this is available for me and my daughters.

I was having bad hot flashes due to menopause. I had samples of FDA approved hormones, and they helped, but they made breasts sore and my insurance would not pay for it. I started using compound and it was $35 a month, which is very affordable. It works to stop hot flashes and my breasts are not sore with natural hormones. Please do not discontinue compounds! My best friend uses it and helps her as well. I am finally finding something helps to function more normally through the day. Please let them continue to make compounds that help people!

I started taking cBHT in June of 2019. I am presently 57 years old. Before treatment, I had extreme vaginal dryness with cuts inside and pain with sex. This has all completely changed for the better with vaginal moisture and no pain during sex. My skin has a glow now and I don't wear any foundation or blush anymore, my hair is healthier. I feel much better. My osteoporosis has improved with more bone density. Hot flashes are gone, much better sleep, more mental clarity and energy. I used to have nose bleeds consistently and this has stopped, too. I sincerely hope that we can always continue to get cBHT. It has helped me immensely!

I have celiac, Hashimoto's, and surgery to remove half of my thyroid because of a tumor, among many other autoimmune conditions. I am on Sustain Release T3 medication that has literally enhanced my quality of life and more. With the Sustain Release, I do not have to take some every hour but instead twice a day, which will carry me through the night. Otherwise I would have to get up multiple times to take a pill. Thus get sicker by not getting a good night sleep. T3 compound medication helps me to digest my food, stay wake and to get warm. When I did not have the SR T3, I could barely eat only fruit, otherwise I my digestion would not work. My temperature was between 96.4 to 97 degrees when I did not have SR T3. Since starting SR T3 my temperature is between 98 and 98.6 degrees. And I could sleep all night and all day without SR T3. It is imperative that SR T3 still be available for me.
I am also taking compound T4. I have tried the generic T4 medication but have several allergic reactions to it. Since being on the Compound T4 without all the dyes, and extra stuff added, I have no reactions and am thriving with it. And knowing I am able to get these things from a Compound Pharmacy has been life saving. Please do not restrict them.

I went to a traditional MD and was prescribed an anti-depressant as well as birth control pills. I have always been an advocate for my own health so I looked around to find another option besides those powerful drugs. I found another health care provider who listened intently to my symptoms and distress and she offered the option of bioidentical hormone therapy. I had never heard of it. After describing this option to me in great detail, and after researching on my own, I began using sublingual tablets. That was 15 years ago and I have never looked back. All my symptoms were resolved, and I have had no adverse reaction to the therapy. I go yearly to be checked, blood work, breast exam, pap, and I have had a clean bill of health. I would never want this option to be taken away. It has been effective, safe, cost effective and has greatly helped my life.

Without my cBHT, I wake up several times at night due to hot flashes. In the daytime, without cBHT, I always have to have a sweater handy because my body has trouble regulating temps. I'm either hot or cold and it's easier to take off or put on a sweater than turn the thermostat up or down. cBHT has been a blessing to both me and my family. I have been using the compound for several years and feel great. The Premerin I used- ONE tube of cost $438 dollars for ONE month's supply. The compound cost $20 some for three months.

I have been on bioidentical hormones since menopause attacked me approximately fifteen years ago. The hot flashes, night sweats, and especially the insomnia disrupted my teaching and personal life. I wanted help to control these symptoms, but I did NOT want my body invaded by artificial hormones. I felt and still feel comfortable using cBHT. I am now in my early seventies and am still able to be very active. My bone density comes back perfect every year and often my general practitioner is impressed the blood work. I get blood work done every six months to make sure all the hormones are balanced. I am under the care of a very knowledgeable doctor. I am very pleased with the help the hormones provide to make my life more positive and active than it was before. They have really helped me maintain a excellent quality of life. I wish I would have known about them even before I began menopause. I am imploring you to not mess with compound hormone therapy.
