I have taken bio identical hormones for over 30 years. I have been extremely pleased with how they have made me feel. I am 73 years old and I lead an active lifestyle, playing golf, traveling, and feeling great! I have experienced absolutely no side effects from taking bio identicals and I am convinced that they play a major role in the quality of my lifestyle.

Please do not shut down compounding pharmacies. The affordable treatment I have been able to get has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. I know that millions of other men and women have similar experiences. I cannot think of any legitimate reason for them to be shut down, which would end my access to this treatment and would hurt my health and quality of life. Shame on you for even considering this.

I started menopause earlier than the average woman
I was having so many issues with hit flashes, low libido, emotional roller-coaster and low energy. My PCP refered me to Dr. Brennerwhen my first obgyn made not attempt to help me find a solution. Being on trt for a couple years, added hcg to my medications and has greatly improved my life. Many side affects were reduced. Hope you can find a way to let hcg be compounded.

For the past year and a half I was suffering from low testosterone. I was always tired, low sex drive, depression, lazy, just all around not myself. Prior to going on TRT my natural testosterone levels were in the double digits. I had to fight for energy. I had severe mood swings, lack of a sex drive. I have used only bio-identical homones for years, ever since I developed issues in menopause. The compounding pharmacy is able to make troches with the exact formula that my body needs. My doctor provides testing to check levels and make adjustments as needed. I have had no issues with the hormones I've been taking for years. They work well providing exactly what my body needs.

I have never tried the artificial hormones as I feel they are just that - artificial. With the bio-identical, I am able to get all the hormones I need, not just estrogen.

TRT/HRT has changed my life. Please do not make it hard or more expensive to for me and others like me to get our prescriptions filled. Testosterone and HCG as well as others are all compounded and are needed for people such as myself.

Please, please let the pharmacy do their job, The compounding pharmacy to make the medication my hormone doctor put me on has changed my life and only for the better. It has helped in my personal life, my work and I feel human again. If I loose the ability to take this kind of medication then, what. I got back to a 55 year old female that will not thrive. I know that loosing this medication would impact my mental well being!!!

I find there is less osteoporosis and better bone density; I notice no more hot flashes or vaginal dryness;
I believe there is less depression, better sleep and better libido. My cholesterol level is better which leads to less heart disease.

After my hysterectomy I started bio-identicals. Five or 6 years later I was told by my doctor that HRT wasn't effective for longer than that, so I stopped. At that point my sleep was greatly affected and I began to have occasional hot flashes. I tried many things short of a prescription sleep aid, but most nights sleep was a real problem and this went on for years. After being diagnosed with osteopenia and osteoporosis, a friend suggested I try HRT again so I talked with my current doctor. She has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I began using bio-identicals again several months ago. My sleep has improved drastically, and my hot flashes are gone. For me, the hot flashes were inconvenient but losing so much sleep was the much bigger issue, as it affects so many things. I don't like the idea of a non-natural HRT, the bio-identicals fit my approach to life.

For over 17 years I have relied on this compounded medication to keep me active, healthy and strong. I tried the patch, the synthetically produced versions prior to investing in time spent with a licensed dr/ professional, the labs to accurately prescribe, and ultimately blend and create the finished product. I know after trying these three very different products/methods, which one is worth my money and which I trust to be the best option for me, health wise.
