Prior to going on TRT my natural testosterone levels were in the double digits. I had to fight for energy. I had severe mood swings, lack of a sex drive. Several of these symptoms caused two divorces and an unsteady crew as a towboat Captain. Shortly after starting TRT, I felt like a new person. I'm full of life, no more mood swings and the wife and crew are happy. Restricting access to compounding drugs will send my life back into a spiral and most definitely make matters worse.

I had a hysterectomy's 30 years ago and was on hormones till the Dr felt it was time to stop them That was when I began to experience severe vaginal dryness they prescribed an estrogen cream which I had a severs reaction to then I found a naturopathic Dr who prescribed the compounded cream it was worked so well without it I would again have severe pain dryness and be unable to experience intercorse with how great discomfort

I have used only bio-identical homones for years, ever since I developed issues in menopause. The compounding pharmacy is able to make troches with the exact formula that my body needs. My doctor provides testing to check levels and make adjustments as needed. I have had no issues with the hormones I've been taking for years. They work well providing exactly what my body needs.

I have never tried the artificial hormones as I feel they are just that - artificial. With the bio-identical, I am able to get all the hormones I need, not just estrogen.

Testosterone therapy has changed my life! I’m 57 years old and with therapy, diet changes and excersize it has changed my life. Testicular atrophy is an unwanted side effect of TRT. TRT/HRT has changed my life. Please do not make it hard or more expensive to for me and others like me to get our prescriptions filled. Testosterone and HCG as well as others are all compounded and are needed for people such as myself.

As a physician who treats patients with cancer and complex chronic illnesses, I regularly prescribe compounded bioidentical hormones and I find them to be essential in clinical practice. Some patients simply require the highly individualized dosing that this form of administration can provide in order to manage their conditions optimally. I had struggled with severe symptoms from menopause for five years. I had brain fog hot flashes, night sweats and extreme dryness. In addition to that I had struggled with anxiety for 25+ years. I started having seizures at 14, when I was going trough menopause I couldn't sleep for days and my seizures increased even with medication. About 4 1/2 years ago, my body started to shut down. Part of the issue was that my body was not producing the proper hormones. I went to my naturopath and he prescribed a hormone compound that has really helped. Over the last few years, my hormones have elevated to the proper levels and I feel so much better. I do not think that my body would have responded to hormone pills. It has responded very well to the cream compound hormone that I take. I am very thankful for the option of having a compound hormone. I do not want to see it taken away.

Please, please let the pharmacy do their job, The compounding pharmacy to make the medication my hormone doctor put me on has changed my life and only for the better. It has helped in my personal life, my work and I feel human again. If I loose the ability to take this kind of medication then, what. I got back to a 55 year old female that will not thrive. I know that loosing this medication would impact my mental well being!!!

I find there is less osteoporosis and better bone density; I notice no more hot flashes or vaginal dryness;
I believe there is less depression, better sleep and better libido. My cholesterol level is better which leads to less heart disease.

After my hysterectomy I started bio-identicals. Five or 6 years later I was told by my doctor that HRT wasn't effective for longer than that, so I stopped. At that point my sleep was greatly affected and I began to have occasional hot flashes. I tried many things short of a prescription sleep aid, but most nights sleep was a real problem and this went on for years. After being diagnosed with osteopenia and osteoporosis, a friend suggested I try HRT again so I talked with my current doctor. She has been extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I began using bio-identicals again several months ago. My sleep has improved drastically, and my hot flashes are gone. For me, the hot flashes were inconvenient but losing so much sleep was the much bigger issue, as it affects so many things. I don't like the idea of a non-natural HRT, the bio-identicals fit my approach to life.

For over 17 years I have relied on this compounded medication to keep me active, healthy and strong. I tried the patch, the synthetically produced versions prior to investing in time spent with a licensed dr/ professional, the labs to accurately prescribe, and ultimately blend and create the finished product. I know after trying these three very different products/methods, which one is worth my money and which I trust to be the best option for me, health wise. I entered menopause early. And before I entered menopause my hormones were messed up. In fact I really felt hormonal all the time as if my period was going to come the very next day. I felt anxious, I felt tired, I felt like I was at the end of my rope all the time. Usually I could handle this because my period would come, my hormones would level out, and then I would feel myself again. I was diagnosed with stage 2 estrogen dominant breast cancer over 30 years ago at age 43. My lymph nodes were removed under my left arm. I underwent chemotherapy and radiation. As a result I experienced a premature menopause. It was terrible. Hot flashes, night sweats, moods swings and depression so bad I couldn’t work. Antidepressants and antipsychotics were prescribed as well as psychotherapy. My sex life ended and divorce followed. Osteopenia was diagnosed and Fosamax was prescribed. I attended a talk by my pharmacist on progesterone cream. I did research and found a physician who prescribed bio identical hormones. That was almost 20 years ago. I no longer need Fosamax or antidepressants. My bone density test is much improved. My spine is normal. I am a vibrant 73 year old with an active sexual life. I am strong. I am happy. I am cancer free! I believe my quality of life is a direct result of the bio identical progesterone and estradiol that is prescribed by my ob/gyn and filled by my compounding pharmacy.

I went thru some horrible hot flashes and night sweats when I began to go thru Menopause at 52. I couldn't take it and investigated Hormone Therapy and found compounded HRT. I loved the result. The flashes greatly diminished and I was able to get some quality sleep. Plus the bone density tests that I have had over the years have not changed. I am now 70 years old and still have pretty youthful skin tone. I totally agree and am in favor of compounded HRT therapy.

Additionally I take compounded Thyroid medication to keep my system normal. So that would affect me and many others that rely on this personalized medication.
