As a competitive, amatuer bodybuilder I know my body well. So when I had severe joint pain in my right index finger I consulted a trusted orthopaedic doctor. X-rays, ultrasound, and MRI were inconclusive and I was told the joint was structuraly sound without defect. My next stop was my gynecologist. Before I discover the hormone replacement therapy, I was miserable. I had no energy, didn’t want to get out bed, didn’t want to go to work and stayed tired. I suffered from embarrassing hot flashes and night sweats from the time I started into full fledge menopause at 50. I tried everything recommended to me by my physician, nothing worked. I was introduced to transdermal hormones, testosterone and progesterone/biest, at the onset of menopause at age 55. My preference was to use natural as opposed to artificial hormones to ameliorate the expected effects of menopause, in large measure because of friends who experienced problems of one sort or another when using synthetics. If men went through menopause you can be sure that no option would be off the table, women deserve no less.

I had a pituitary block of all my hormones after birth of my child. I could not use progestin or Premarin because I had blood clots. I cannot think of any legitimate reason for them to be shut down, which would end my access to this treatment and would hurt my health and quality of life. Shame on you for even considering this.

I started menopause earlier than the average woman
I was having so many issues with hit flashes, low libido, emotional roller-coaster and low energy. My PCP refered me to Dr. Brennerwhen my first obgyn made not attempt to help me find a solution. Whitney was the first one I saw at Dr. Brenner office and she did some blood test to see what was going on and from there we made a plan that includes hormone replacement therapy. It has made a tremendous difference in how I feel. It has even helped with migraine headaches.

Being on trt for a couple years, added hcg to my medications and has greatly improved my life. Many side affects were reduced. Hope you can find a way to let hcg be compounded.
