I was having severe allergy problems of sinus drainage and coughing. The ENT and Pulmonologist could not find a prescription to help and they did not know why I was coughing. They said I had a lot of sinus drainage that was going into the lungs and I was coughing to clear out that drainage. I tried over 10 different drugs and treatments to no avail.

Then my pharmacist suggested that I do a cortisol test and progesterone since I'd had a lot of personal stress recently. My cortisol was way low normal, almost low and my progesterone was not measurable.

I used HRT for many years to help fight osteoporosis. I used Estrogel and Divigel when I was employed full time with health benefits. Now that I have joined Medicare, I can no longer find insurance coverage (part D) for a gel or cream because there are no generic forms of these products. I initially used testosterone that was manufactured by a drug company and the cost was great. I switched to a compounding pharmacy. It was less expensive which allowed me to continue my therapy and I believe the compounded medicine was as effective or possibly more effective.

I had severe peri menopause symptoms before cBHT and went to several gynecologists who wanted to put me on a variety of birth control pills which had not only not helped but has made symptoms worse. There wasn’t one out there that gave me any relief but nobody seemed to care. I found a gynecologist who actually took the time to hormone test me and I was very high estrogen and very low progesterone. Not everyone is the same!!!!!!!!! We shouldn’t be forced to only have the option of taking something made for most people of it doesn’t work for us! I take something formulated for me. And it’s natural! Bonus!! Please please save cBHT! Did the FDA study do hormone testing and make products specific to the individuals or just make one thing and give it to everyone? As hormones continue to change I want to be able to take something that continues to help!! Not only have the option to take something that makes me sick or nothing at all.
