I experienced menopausal issues- physical and emotional- for many years, until I was switched to the compounded hormone cream. I have taken natural progesterone and estriol for years. When I don't take them, I have more incontinence, thyroid problems, hot flashes, and generally I don't feel as well. I tried premarin at first and had many bad side effects, including heart problems which went away once I quit premarin.

I consulted with two friends who are doctors and also appreciate holistic approaches- both recommended the Wiley Protocol and the book "Sex, Lies and Menopause". One year later, all cysts had disappeared. I also had none of the traditional fogginess, night sweats or forgetfullness of menopause- key for my career. I've been on them about 11 years and pay for them out of pocket (which I shouldn't have to- not even allowed to use my HSA account which baffles me). I'd go underground to continue them if our government takes them away.
