I have a significant family history of breast cancer so needed a different formulation than conventional hormones can give. I continue to take cBHT because I feel much better with it than without it.

I can't begin to express the amount that my compounded DHEA and testosterone prescriptions have improved my life. Without them, and my ability to adjust them to exactly to the right amount I need, I wouldn't be able to function correctly. Hormone replacement therapy has given me my life back by allowing me to have a normal quality of life. After having a hysterectomy due to cancer, my body felt in shock and unable to balance different symptoms within myself. I was feeling no energy, headaches, and body sweats. I always felt depressed, unhealthy with lots of weight gain, and other unhealthy symptoms. Hormone replacement therapy has helped me tremendously in many ways. I no longer feel depressed or have extreme body sweats and headaches. I live a healthy, normal life, and have energy throughout the day, which allows me to exercise six days a week. I am 52 years old not taking any other medicines other than hormone replacement therapy because I do not suffer from any autoimmune diseases. Without hormone replacement therapy, I will be suffering from many illnesses and not have a healthy lifestyle.

I have always struggled with hormone imbalance whether it be PCOS or low progesterone/testosterone. My left ovary had to be removed due to PCOS, and a few years later, a sharp decline in hormone balance occurred. I went from having higher testosterone to extremely low testosterone, resulting in little sleep, muscle loss, and fat gain. I was at risk for heart disease due to these factors in addition to family history of heart disease. As you know, insomnia contributes to heart disease as well as muscle loss and body fat percentage. Going on an extremely low dose of testosterone has increased the hours of sleep I get each night. According to my dexascan, my muscle ratio has increased by 10% as I have lost fat around my organs. My progesterone levels have increased and higher than normal estrogen levels decreased, lowering my risk for breast cancer which is also part of my family history. I have more energy and feel great!
