I might be facing breast cancer otherwise because of a family history of low hormones and depression. I also have healthy libido which is a must for quality of life. Without BHRT there is none.

About 20 years ago I started to go through pre-menopausal change. My M.D had me take pills specifically for this. However, I can't remember the name right now. When I started the medicine it affected me terriblly. I thought I was having a nervous breakdown, I couldn't sleep, anxious etc. I really went into a tailspin. I just happened to read a book on hormone replacement and discovered that the medicine she gave me caused these symptoms. So I immediately discontinued. I read about a more natural protocol and starting researching. I found a doctor who was a hormone specialist. She got me started right away on a different path. After that I didn't have any adverse affects and I've been using the cream for years. Not everyone can take medicines that a M.D prescribes. One pill doesn't fit all. Every woman's body is different and you have to know your body.

During and after menopause, I had gained weight, lost most of my libido, cried very easily, had night sweats, was cranky most of the time, had a lot of trouble getting good sleep, rarely slept through the night and had to get up in the middle of the night every night to urinate. After gong on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, I have maintained a very healthy weight, have a great libido, rarely get weepy or cranky, never get night sweats, rarely wake up in the middle of the night and get a good 7.5-8 hours of sleep a night. I am very concerned about putting chemicals in my body and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy helps me avoid those chemical hormones. I am in great health and at the age of 59.5, I am on no other medications for anything. I feel that I have made choices for my body that has put me in this great position and bioidentical over synthetic is one of those choices that was paramount. I have such conviction for these bioidentical hormones that I am willing to pay quite a bit more for them that the synthetic hormones. I thought women were supposed to have freedom of choice for our healthcare and our own bodies. If you take bioidentical hormones away, you are taking away my healthcare and my freedom over my own body.

A few months after I started cBHT, all of these issues improved immensely, greatly improving my life and well being. Unlike most medications I've tried for various conditions, I have had NO negative side effects from my hormone replacement cream and continue to have great results when using it daily. I wish this prescription cream was covered by my insurance, but even though it is not covered by my insurance, I feel it is worth every penny.
