I experienced early onset menopause at the age of 40. My doctor prescribed premarin, which I took for several years. I had hot flashes for 20 years. When I started taking the bioidentical hormones, my flashes went completely away. To be hot when everyone else is not is an comfortable situation. Big pharmaceutical and insurance industries are making huge profits while making the American health care financial billing system a disaster.

As I approached menopause (and even during pre-menopause,) I started having severe insomnia. My menopausal symptoms got even worse to include, severe night sweats, hot flashes, weight gain, and hair loss. The insomnia was most debilitating especially at work.
