I have been using natural progesterone cream for years. I am now 57 years and had a hysterectomy six years ago. I have not had the typical hot flashes. I tried lowering the dose and then stopped using the progesterone cream for a month recently and I can say, I don't want to have to do that again. I had flair ups of eczema, blood pressure, and hot flashes. My hair even feels better now that I am back on it! It balances my life and I would be sad to see it not available. Except for the money factor, why in the world would the FDA want to ban it? People are allowed to ruin their lives with alcohol and junk food, but this is a product that actually helps quality of life especially women of my age. If it does not help someone, let them decide not to purchase it! We should have the freedom to choose. I personally would not use something else. I would just let nature take its course and give up! I like the fact that it is more natural than something completely man made...usually with tons of side effects! I was also diagnosed with MS 10 years ago and I believe it helps that as well. The doctor recently said I must have a mild case since I am doing so well. I believe the natural progesterone cream has helped all these years. Again, we should be allowed to choose to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and actually helps me. That is the beauty of living in a free COUNTRY right?

I have a balanced lifestyle with no hot flashes. Very active in all respects.

To me, it is important to use "natural" instead of synthetic hormones. These hormones match what my body was used to producing. They are tailored for ME! I have no side effects. Every woman has different hormone levels. For me, I had a complete hysterectomy over 30 years ago and I feel balanced. NO night sweats, NO hot flashes, and research shows these bypass my liver. I do not want my whole well-being to change.

Since taking cBHT I have less anxiety, and I have significantly reduced menopause side effects. I can focus more, have clearer thinking and am noticeably not as irritated.

I was a real 'mess', mentally and physically until my family doctor suggested that I try compounded bioidentical HRT. She referred my to an OBGYN who had me do a saliva test to check my hormone levels. After getting results, meds were compounded specifcially for me. After about two weeks, I was not having hot flashes, mood swings, and vaginal dryness, which was causing me to feel like I had a UTI. I just felt better all over! I have continued to stay on the bioidentical HRT for 13 years (I am now 68). My doctor makes sure that I get my annual mammogram which she gets the full report and compares to previous year along with a saliva test to make sure everything is balanced and nothing is too high or too low. She will not refill my bioidentical HRT unless I do the annual mammogram and saliva testing. She works with the compounding pharmacy if changes should be made. I cannot stress how it would benefit every woman to be able to have this as a choice to their medical care as they reach menopause. I plan on bioidentical HRT aways being a part of my medical care plan. It has been a true blessing. Central Compounding Center in Durham, NC and Dr. Sheila Allison, MD/Raleigh, NC are the best around. I don't know what I would have done without them! Please support a woman's right to choose with her doctor if bioidentical HRT is right for her when she reaches this stage in her life.

I had a prolapse uterus and eventually was an unable to enjoy outdoor or just daily activities. I constantly felt like I needed to urinate and had physical discomfort. My estrogen cream brought my life back to normal for many years. When it was time to wear a pessary, my vaginal walls had good integrity which has allowed using a pessary to be totally comfortable and unnoticeable in my daily life. I believe that the estrogen cream has prevented me from having difficult and possibly unuseful surgery.

I have had a terrific experience with these hormones. They make me feel wonderful and more importantly, I can work the pharmacist to adjust the dosages in small amounts if need be.

I am allergic to commercial estrogen cream and the compounding pharmacy estriol base does not cause allergic reactions on my skin. So I have to use them and you shouldn't take away our freedom to choose.

It is my opinion that it is the best resolution to the horrible symptoms and side effects of menopause. My family agrees with me that it has made the biggest improvement in my overall physical, mental, and emotional health. It scares me to think this could be taken away from me and replaced with the "one-size-fits-all" HRT manufactured by big pharmaceutical companies, proven to be dangerous to us!

My mother had breast cancer and so I did not want to take high levels of animal hormones. I took those until age 63 but was still having hot flashes and night sweats. I am a medical technologist so I found a doctor who would work with me on saliva testing annually and bioidentical hormones. Since I switched I have been able to stop the night sweats and feel this is safer. I did not like knowing that horses were abused to produce estrogen. We have the right to try law and I will do all in my power to make sure this is available for me and my daughters. We will order these from the internet if America is prohibited from selling them. The FDA will have a fight on their hands.

I was so bad prior to cBHT, I couldn't stand myself and neither could anyone else. I've always had terrible PMS. So sick and moody, and in bed cramping under a heating pad. Within a few weeks on biodentical hormones, I could tell a difference as well as my husband and kids. It took a good month or so but it changed life. I could function, socialize, work and be part of human race once again. My migraines even lessened eventually going away. I could now go out or stay home and act accordingly again. I have tried other testosterone, and the bioidentical compounded makes me feel better overall to a great extent over synthetic testosterone. I have tried different synthetic replacements too. I question why our government agencies would restrict access to something with such a benefit. In 20 years of using compounded testosterone, I have never had a problem. This is a power and / or money issue, and it is disheartening to say the least.
