I am chemically sensitive and had tried pre-made hormones for years; the patch, suppositories, oral, cream, etc. ALL of them had too many side effects for me. Every oral form (and sometimes the patches) gave me migraines. I do not even remember how I made it to the compounding version it has been so long. It took some trial and error to find the bases needed for me to tolerate this vehicle. The pharmacist was very patient with me. I think I started this at least around the age of 50 so I have been able to stick with this version for at least ten years if not more. If something happens to them I will have to give them up. Which means I may no longer be able to tolerate sex anymore either. This tiny amount of estrogen enables me to continue enjoying sex. I do not want to start over in trying different one-dose-fits-all prescription hormone medicine again. Please let me know who in the current government to contact about that if compounding hormones are going to be wiped out. I am too young to lose my sex life. Thank you. You may give my contact info to the FDA or share my testimony with them (preferably without my name shown if possible).

I would compare my before and after experience of using intra-vaginal hormonal cream to this: imagine a car running out of engine oil, with the end result that the engine eventually stops due to lack of lubrication. Then imagine a car with adequate lubrication and how it runs for many years because there is a sufficiency. My body is like that: being intimate with my husband prior to bioidentical therapy was painful and I did not look forward to the act due to the pain. I also had some bleeding due to the dryness despite using Uberlube/other personal lubricants. Bioidentical therapy has created a sustainable moisture to my vagina that has made sexual intercourse pleasant, pain-free and no bleeding. It has been a life-saver!
