I would not have taken traditional hormone therapy because of the risks and feel much safer with this form of hormones. cBHT has helped improve my osteoporosis (as demonstrated by a bone scan). My blood pressure has also stabilized. Mass type prescriptions did not help me. My MD tested me every six months and individualized prescriptions to create ones that worked.

I was irritable for no reason, completely lacked any sex drive and woke up drenched in sweat multiples times throughout night, making me exhausted the next day. The compounded hormones have made me steady emotionally and completely erased my hot flashes. I no longer wake up soaked and needing to change my pajamas multiple times per night. I would not take regular pharmaceutical hormones- I don't trust that they will be made to what I need. I urge you to allow compounding pharmacies to continue their great work, unobstructed.

I am a 68 year old female, who suffered from insomina, fatigue, headaches, and mood swings this went on for many years, I was using as natural as possible creams on the market, they would help short term. I was lucky enough to find a MD who did all my hormone levels and based on the results compounded a mixture especially for my levels. I felt within a week, normal, as if I woke up from a long sleep. These specialized compounds must be kept, we are all very different people and should not be lumped together for hormone therapy. DO NOT DO AWAY WITH COMPOUNDING. You will ruin so many stable women who depend on the specialized creams and pills.

I have had great success with compound hormone treatments. I initially started with the pellets but they were just so strong for my system. Thank goodness there was a compound creme option that I could use and it has been wonderful with no side effects. Why would you eliminate a type of medication that helps a lot of women have a good quality of life? Women are a majority of people and we will all hit menopause. Although choosing these medications is an option for many women, it is a necessary option that needs to remain.

I would NOT get the same effect by being on any kind of oral medication.

I wasn't sleeping due to a hormonal imbalance, and my health and well-being suffered tremendously because of my sleep deprivation. I was also living in a state of severe PMS. Regular hormone therapy worsened my symptoms. It turns out that all I needed was cBHT. I suffered for 10 years, but the solution was simple and very effective. I can't imagine that the FDA or other government organization would deny me of this simple, inexpensive treatment. I can never go back to how sick I was without cBHT.

Compounded hormone therapy has had a profoundly positive impact on the quality of my life! When I started menopause, I had gone to no less than six doctors to no avail, trying to get relief from symptoms that were dramatically affecting my well-being. I had non-stop hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog and a generalized feeling of tiredness. It was extremely difficult for me to function at my job as a high school teacher and to take care of my family. I finally found a doctor who was knowledgeable about cBHT, and my life quickly took a turn for the better. Compounded hormone therapy not only quickly started to control my symptoms, but over the past 15 years, it has been the reason that I have been able to maintain an active lifestyle and continue working past retirement. Compounded hormone therapy has literally been life-saving for me! My life would be dramatically impacted for the worst if cBHT were to be restricted.

I have the vigor I had over 15 years ago. I have had no ill effects - hard to compare what would have happened, when it didn't! Dementia runs in my mother's family (she, her sister, and her two brothers had it early and were all killed by it). I am fine at the age of 68. So, I would ask the FDA, what group representing Big Pharma is pushing this? Typical prescription drugs have had a worse effect on many other people in my life than my compounded pharmaceuticals have had on me or my husband, who has used them for hormone replacement and topical pain control.

I take HRT and it has greatly enhanced my quality of ilfe, I never wanted to take medication as a fear of causing more problems while being on HRT long term so when I found out I could take a all natural HRT I was so thankful! I have been taking compount HRT for almost 10 years and it has completely changed my life in a POSITIVE way. I thought I was going to lose my mind prior to taking compound HRT, every since Ive been on it, it has truly saved my life. I'm so thankful for it.
