I have always been highly energetic and active, then suddenly I couldn’t get out of bed. I was getting depressed and moody, crying for no reason, my skin lost it’s glow, I started feeling bloated and not fitting into my clothes. I kept feeling powerless, not understanding what is going on with me, I literally felt like I no longer knew my body and mind. I was suffering from numerous health issues for years. One of my PCMs recommended I start working with a compounding pharmacy, so I researched and found one I felt comfortable working with. I spoke with the pharmacist, who had me conduct a saliva test. The test results found I was lacking in a number of hormones, so the pharmacist started me on pregnenolone and DHEA. In just a few days my mood and health improved! I woke up less often to urinate, which in turn improved my sleep. My ability to focus and concentrate improved considerably. I have nothing but praise for my pharmacist for helping me find an affordable solution to the issues I was dealing with.

I am a testicular cancer survivor that suffers from low testosterone resulting from corrective surgery. The only remaining effective medical treatment is compounded testosterone / DHEA injections. Restrictions on compounding pharmacies will likely limit the availability of this treatment. Please consider the damage that will be done to patients like myself if additional restrictions or prohibitions are passed.

As I was getting close to menopause I started getting hot flashes and night sweats. At night I would wait up every hour and during the day I was sleepy and without energy. Most doctors do not have an answer for you but I found a doctor who prescribed estrogen and progesterone and that made such a difference in my life. I don't dread going to bed anymore, I am able to sleep and feel like myself during the day.

I have been taking progesterone 200 mg slow release for 7 years and the results have been amazing. Definitely I get more sleep at night and the hot flashes seem to disappear.
On the other hand, when I have gone through a few weeks without taking it, I can certainly see the difference.
Also, I tried one time the medicine, but not compounded, and the results were not the same by far.

My health is better than some 30 year olds I know. I have great energy, sleep very well and still am employed full-time. My bones are still strong and I am extremely active (including the gym).

I'm seeing another reality where all the variables are given to me but I have a hard time making a final decision because psychological damage. The. I hear and see people sitting, standing, smoking.
