Since taking cBHT, I have been able to sleep more than 4 hours at a time. This has allowed me to continue working as a healthcare professional, much longer than I would have been able to manage on years of poor sleep. I was beginning to have stress related heart issues that have completely resolved from accessing more normal sleep, frequently. It has also completely resolved vaginal dryness and painful intercourse. I am looking forward to continue with my happy marriage for a very long time. I would not be able to do this with prescription hormone replacement because that is processed through the digestive system which initiates a different physiologic response in me. I tried it and it wasn't as effective and I was very worried about the long term effects.

I am actually taking the DHEA Suppository for Atrophy of the Vulva. It was prescribed by my gynecologist. At first, I was prescribed Premarin and it was horrible! Nothing but continual abdominal cramps, and itchiness & pain in the vulva area. Sex with my husband was totally OUT, and I had no quality of life. Then I was prescribed the compound DHEA, and my life turned totally around. The cramps, pain & itchiness was gone. Sex with my husband was restored, and I could look forward to a pain free future. If DHEA is taken away, I would have no choice but to go back to on artificial hormones again, and a life of misery. Started on testosterone replacement therapy once menopause started; to treat inflammation and low libido. It has made an incredibly positive impact on my day to day life. I would go back to being a miserable mess without it.

I would be lost without hormone therapy. My hormones were so imbalanced it was affecting every aspect of my daily life. Thirty+ hot flashes a day and night, no sleep, massive headaches, exhaustion, mood swings. I can function normally now and take care of my family including my disabled son.

Once menopause began for me I tried many things to relieve symptoms etc. but to no avail. But once my doctor prescribed the compounded medication of Progesterone in combination with Estradiol it made all the difference. The terrible hot flashes stopped, the feelings of being out of control and indecisive have gone and I felt hopeful again. Life returned to normal. I can't imagine going back to life without this medication. I have been so grateful for it.

I am just starting a compounded Progesterone. All other forms of this drug is based on using peanut oil and I am highly allergic to all types of nuts! If it were not for compounding, I could not receive HRT.

I went into full Menopause in my early to mid-forties. I am adopted & do not know my medical history, but have a brother 1 year older, who has had cancer in his forties. Not knowing my history except my brothers experiences, & the fact that I don't react to medicines in a normal way, often developing an intolerance or reaction to them. I need to be as cautious as possible, especially knowing I will be on it for many years. That is why I am using the bio-identical even though I pay 100% out of pocket since my insurance wont cover it. I chose safety over cost!!

As mentioned above, I have been using compounded hormone therapy for over two decades. I can't imagine not being able to use them. They make a difference inside and out of my body.

For a period of six weeks, I got off the hormones. I could barely function during this period. When I went back on the hormones, I became much calmer, I had a clear head, my muscle tone became better again.

I can't imagine not being able to use this hormone therapy. I'd be happy to be part of any NASEM study in the future to provide results to make better decisions about women's hormonal health.

Hormone therapy has certainly helped my attitude and sex life!

I have hot flashes every hour with out these hormones and they need to be adjusted periodically by minute amounts. My body is extremely sensitive. I also have compounded T3 (thyroid hormone) and hydrocortisone. My body doesn't make these and the pharmaceutical equivalents (cytomel and cortef) make me rush and crash several times a day like taking speed. This leaves me bed bound as my body won't take that, my muscles won't move. I need compounded hormones to have any quality of life. Not all of our bodies fit the conventional mold. Those of us at the edges of the bell curve have a right to survive too. Big Pharma you have plenty of income you don't need to take this away from us to survive but we need this for our life and the pursuit of happiness in our quality of life.

I have been on compounded medications since 1999 when I first began Menopause and its what save me. I had ample OB/GYN at that time who was uncaring and did nothing to help my symptoms. Dr. Roberta Foss-Morgan was recommended to me and I have been with her since April of 1999. I have also been prescribed compounded medications for my Hypothyroidism and because I also have celiacs disease many medications contain wheat. Instead of taking compounds away you should be helping to sustain them. I just had my physical with my new internist and he was impressed with my results his comment to me was " your boring". My doctor monitors my care and I have blood work every four months to maintain my quality of life. Many medications in Europe are compounded they embrace this practice and it is my hope that you do not ban compounded medications from the patients who need them. Thank you for understanding!!!!!

I went from bloodwork not indicating any menapausal effects to 6-8 months later having bloodwork showing I had zero testosterone, zero estrogen and zero progesterone with no drive for anything. I chose the cream because of the plant based compound due to the least amount of side effects.

I am 19 years old and I have had severe PMS every month with an extreme dropping of hormones causing me to have headaches, uncontrolled shaking and pain. The shaking was so bad that one month I was taken by ambulance for fear it was a seizure or worse. This compound has made the difference in my aging in a strong and healthy productive life or suffering unnecessarily .And suffer I did until I was introduced to this bio-identical vaginal dhea cream. What I want to know is how it became possible that anyone but me should be the testimony and or dictator of my own moral and God given rights and choices , or anyone else's abiding peacefully and perpetuating a cleaner healthier chemically drug free life ? Choices that bring hope and relief in ways chemical laden hormone replacement cannot provide without bringing on other complications. Hallelujah God has made it possible to have free will and people who are skilled in helping us all to make those choices according to our own circumstances.

For the past 3 years I have suffered through many of the symptoms from menopause with no relief, having tried everything.
