I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016. I then underwent six surgeries to remove all cancer, one in which was a complete hysterectomy. Slowly, I started noticing mood changes, low libido, hot flashes and severe depression and panic attacks. I seen several different physicians seeking help and knowing in my heart that thus was all caused from my hormones. It wasn't until I confided in my cancer doctor last year that I had actually thought of suicide that she referred me to a hormone replacement specialist. She prescribed compound therapy gels as well as patches. This has literally changed my life! For the first time in years, I feel normal again and I am loving life. I hate to think that anyone would dare take these treatments away from people who desperately need them.

I started cBHT many years after having breast cancer. At 46, I had chemo and many surgeries. Because I was pre-menopausal, my drop in hormones was dramatic. I experienced severe hot flashes and night sweats, fatigue and no sex drive. The conventional medical community strongly apposed any HRT, making us believe we would get cancer again if we used it. I read several writings and books on the negative affect of low hormone levels as it pertains to cancer. I then checked into bioidenticals. Natural, plant based HRT that not only could eliminate my awful symptoms, but could give me a sex drive again and a clearer mind again.
I tried it and within a month I felt so much better. Further benefits such as balancing my hormones to give me protection against getting cancer again, lessen the chances of Alzhimers, and protect my heart.
I know chemical HRT is a very bad thing for cancer patients so I understand the warnings. cBHT is not a chemical flooding my system with 10x the amount of hormones my body should have.
My quality of life has been greatly improved because of cBHT. Please don't take my choices away!

It completely changed my life. Before using these, I was on sleep meds and other medications for joint pain, water retention, etc. I had no energy and was unable to sleep more than 1 or 2 hours at night. I could not focus on my job and it was affecting my productivity and my family life. Traditional meds helped me some, but each came with its own series of side effects. Sometimes, as bad as the original issue. I felt like a zombie for two or three years, and my doctor was only happy to add one more prescription every time a new symptom came up. Compound hormone replacement gave me my life back. Those of us who use it usually have tried every other traditional method with no success. We understand the risks, and to me the risk is totally worth it. This should be part of the RIGHT TO TRY policy. We pay from our pocket.

Hormone therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and the amount taken/applied must be adjusted for the particular needs of the patient which can only be done through compounding. If the amount is insufficient or excessive to even the smallest measure, it can have profound negative effects on the patient. Compounded HRT is also chemically identical to what is produced in the body unlike pharmaceuticals created in a laboratory. Engineered laboratory hormones are not recognized by receptors in the body in the same way as compounded bioidentical hormones. Access to compounded HRT is essential for restoring and maintaining good cardiovascular health along with resistance to cancer.

I had a hysterectomy due to endometriosis at age 30. By my late 30's, I was experiencing intolerable menopausal symptoms. I tried every form of estrogen/progesterone replacement therapy available from pharmaceutical companies, including Premarin and various patches, without relief. Premarin actually made me feel worse. I finally found a physician who recommended compounded estrogen and progesterone - the dose could be adjusted to my needs. I felt better immediately, though it took a few years to get things balanced correctly for me. Neither I nor my husband can imagine going back to the misery of how I felt before compounded HRT was available to me.

This compound has saved my sanity. The Big Pharmaceutical companies do not make bioidentical medications. They make synthetic compounds that are not bioidentical and I believe they cause cancer. I have lost family and friends to the synthetic answer. We need medications that are identical to the ones our bodies make. The big companies don't want to do that. Three months after my 56th birthday my body completely quit making hormones. I had brain fog, all my hair fell out plus all my body hair disappeared. I developed overwhelming anxiety. Several weeks after I started the medication, I began to feel better. And things have proceeded positively.

After a year of severe dehydration, dry eye, and three medical providers either not taking my symptoms seriously or not believing it could be hormonal, I was finally tested for hormone levels. At 41 years old, it was determined I have low progesterone. Using a compounded cream, I have been able to dial in to a dosage that works for me. It took a lot of dosing adjustments to find what works for me. My OBGYN is very supportive of this type of treatment because it allows me to come much closer to what I need than other treatments that are currently FDA approved. This has allowed me to continue my office job, and provide for my family, as I am the primary wage earner. Prior to this treatment, my eyes were so bad, it was questionable how I would continue to work outside the home.
