Before I started using bioidenticals, I had debilitating headaches. I missed work and my life! I suffered from depression and I was a mess. After no more headaches or depression, I was back. My life is back. I am a 100% believer in bioidenticals.

I have Hoshimoto's disease and without these bioidenticals I use, I am far more sluggish, tired, gain weight easier and sleep worse. The FDA needs to stay in their lane.

I began taking BHRT when I could not easily tolerate the symptoms of menopause, which for me began at age 48 even though I continued to have menses. At the time I was running my company of 304 employees in five states, and traveling between sites. I was unable to sleep through the night without being drenched in perspiration, and feeling very much like I could not tolerate much more of these symptoms without relief. I also had a DEXA screen at age 50 years old, which pointed out that I was beginning osteopenia, and may need to take the Fosamax type drug. Being very much against Fosamax, I decided to try some Prempro that my OBGYN prescribed for me. I took one pill and had a two week long headache. So I knew that my body could not tolerate this drug. I began to read about BHRT, and decided to find a compounding pharmacist who could direct me to a doctor that utilized these natural compounds for his patients. The pharmacist just so happened to be around my age and going through what I was going through. So together, we lobbied our gynecologist we shared and she agreed to let us try it, as long as she could take a pelvic ultrasound every two years to ensure the safety of our uterus. We agreed and the first night I tried BHRT, I slept like a baby. Since then I have never quit and I take it every day and will never stop! I am 74 years old now and all my friends ask how I stay so active and young looking. I just smile and say BHRT did this for me. Since age 48, I have not had ONE hot flash or sleepless night AND my DEXA scan showed that my T scores were within 10% of a 30 year old. I workout every day. I am 5'5" and weigh my college weight of 119. We have found what I consider the fountain of youthful vigor and life force. I will NEVER give up my BHRT until my dying day! And nearly all of my friends are on it as well. It has allowed me to be able to sleep again at night well. It stopped my hot flashes, and stopped the terrible itching that I had. If I did not have this available to me, my quality of life would be dramatically affected.

Hormone therapy has greatly helped my life to feel better and function better. Why would the FDA take hormones away from us? That would be a complete disaster to so many of us. Our health would be at risk.

I had my cystic ovaries removed in 2002 at the age of 48. My OBGYN put me on esterase pill and my life was fine. I got breast cancer triple-neg. in 2010 at the age of 56.
