Compound hormone therapy allows me to adjust (cream) to fit my individual need. The cream also allows absorption via bloodstream versus liver/kidney. This therapy is a choice. A choice that should not be limited.

After a partial hysterectomyat 48, my ovaries gave up functioning. The brain fog and vaginal dryness was completely intolerable. They help me to continue to look like and act like the woman I always desire to be for my wonderful husband. Please don't let the FDA stop our access to a normal healthy life.

I have much improved bladder control.

As a post-menopausal woman, I tried prescription cream for vaginal dryness but found it ineffective. My doctor then prescribed a compounded estrogen cream- estradiol. It was wonderful, and I have used it for over 10 years now with no ill effects. Please do not take away my right to use this compounded medication.

My biestrogen hormone replacement cream has made a huge difference in my quality of life. I believe it is so much safer than the big pharma alternatives.

I spent a few years on an estrogen blocker and my primary side effects were joint aches, difficulty with concentration, and temporary hot flashes. When the estrogen blocker was eventually discontinued, the joint pain and foggy thinking remained. I have experienced significant improvement on compounded bi-Est even though the dosage is very low. My physician can choose a dosage that is geared and adjusted specifically for my needs with the lowest effective amount. He can make minute adjustments with unlimited choices, as far as I understand, so that the medication is custom made for me and my symptoms, if they change over time.

My insurance stopped paying for Androgel. I went to compounded T so I could afford T. I am healthier, both physically and mentally, happier, and stronger. Being almost 72 I am very active because, I feel, due to T replacement.

Using compunded liquid hormones has allowed me to fine-tune my dose to the absolute minimum dose that is effective. I have tried noncompounded versions, and they can not be adjusted anywhere close to the same degree. Also, they are less effective and the estrogen dose has to be higher, which I want to avoid.

I was prescribed hormone replacement due to the strong genetic risk of osteoporosis within my family. My mother, her two sisters, and my grandmother all have or had it. I am osteopenia. My numbers of my last dexa scan showed that my condition is NOT getting worse. It is possible the hormone replacement is helping. I do not have breast cancer in my family, and I did a genetic test which did not indicate a risk of breast cancer. The doctor recommended I be on the medication for five years to help with the osteoporosis but reduce the risk of breast cancer. I go in for regular mammograms which have all been normal. Please don't eliminate access to this treatment. So many people benefit from it. They need to be aware of the risks of breast cancer, but so many other risks can come from not allowing it to be available.

Quality of life, intimacy in my marriage and better health overall have all been the positive outcomes through use of compounded prescriptions.

It has helped with not having vaginal infections. My hormones are balanced, thus not having mood fluctuations. My quality of life is much better using natural supplements that compliment my life.
