I can get the patch or pills, but I feel this is safer. Thank God for these compounding hormones. If I pay for this myself, then what is the issue?

When my hormones declined after menopause, I suffered from a decline in my intellectual and emotional capabilities. I felt like my entire personality was gone. I also had digestive problems, joint and muscle pain, exhaustion and the most annoying problem- urinary incontinence. I would not have any warning at all, and the urine would start running out of me. It is ridiculous in this country where marijuana is prescribed for many ills, and people are dying from legally prescribed opiates, not to mention all of the other dangerous meds being used to treat symptoms that do nothing to enhance a person's real health, that something like cBHT is under attack.

I have mast cell disease which causes me pain and GI problems. I started progesterone due to the attached research article. Progesterone has helped me a lot but my stomach will not tolerate the standard pills. I get it compounded due the excipients in regular pills and my intolerance of those chemicals.

I am currently 59 years old. Since I was 10 years old, I have suffered from migraine headaches. Growing up and into adulthood, I virtually always had a headache. After starting my hormone treatment, my RA symptoms began to steadily improve. By the Fall of 2017 my RA was in complete remission and my Rheumatologist discharged me as a regular patient. I never had to return to the injections since starting the hormone therapy. Compound bioidentical hormones changed my life and it was the ONLY thing that offered me any lasting relief from my migraines and my RA. Please keep these much treatments widely available and affordable for people like me.

I will not take synthetic hormones because of the side effects and health risks. My sister took traditional HR and it was not good. After my hysterotomy, my menopause symptoms were difficult. It was totally disrupting my daily life. After beginning BHT, things are so much better. I feel normal- like myself again. If BHT became unavailable, I would have to go back to that disruptive life.

I started cBHT when my pre-menopausal symptoms started me on a downward spiral into depression. My original Ob/Gyn started me on a cream with a mixture of all three hormones. When he moved to a different state, I had to find a new doctor as my symptoms once again became more severe. My new doctor started me on a noncompound prescription and my body did not metabolize the medication well. We then tried a dissolvable form but I wasn't able to afford the it. I am now set with the correct cBHT with a semi-annual check up. I am asking you please do not remove cBHT as a choice. Having my hormones in balance is what is saving me from severe depression.

I truly could not function without my cBHT. I rely heavily on it to maintain a quality of life that I deserve. It has been a safe and effective way to balance my hormones for over 10 years now with no adverse side effects. I cannot imagine, and am truly fearful of, what will happen to my quality of life if I am unable to have access to it through my compounding pharmacy.
