My husband started using the compound service a few years ago. My husbands levels were dangerously low. Thanks to this service, he has energy and able to do everyday life tasks. I can't imagine my life without bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. I'm chronically low on most of hormones, especially progesterone. I would not be able to have the life I do without them now. I have been taking them for over 15 years with only benefits, including but not limited to, great bone density at age 65. My mother died due to complications from Osteoporosis so this is of critical importance to me. I had tried manufactured ones before I found these. They did not help me at all like these have.

I am a 38 year old female who underwent a hysterectomy at 30 years of age. As a result, my body was thrown into surgically induced menopause. Without hormone replacement therapy, I would have been forced to endure severe anxiousness, severe hot flashes, mood disorders, and a severe disruption in sleep due to the drop in hormone levels naturally produced pre-hysterectomy. Removing the ability for a compouning lab to produce compounded medictions such as progesterone has a deterimental impact to patients who have been treated via compounded hormones for many years, with essentially zero regard to the negative outcome of the patient and long-term biological changes. Progesterone has afforded me the ability to live a higher quality of life. Removing compounded medications such as progesterone would result in the return of menopausal symptoms and an increased risk for medical problems such as high blood pressure and osteoperosis causing a snowball effect for other problems to arise. The FDA disallowing the production of hormones for hormone replacement therapy would hold a critical, negatively impacting response to patients who have grown accustom this method of treatment. I wholly disagree with forcing patients to endure this type of trauma and ask that the FDA consider NOT moving forward with the removal of HRT.

When I first needed HRT, my doctor and I opted to do drugs because they were covered by my insurance. I had an allergic reaction. She immediately took me off the Rx and put me on compound HRT. Fast forward, when the big scare in the early 2000's hit, my GYN suggested I see if I could go without compound HRT and do supplements. I did it for 18 months. I experienced hot flashes, sweats, fuzzy brain and my vagina was so dry and painful that my husband and I could not have intercourse. My GYN, resumed the compound HRT and I'm able to have pain-free intercourse and my energy level is back and the hot flashes and sweats are gone. When I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, my Endo. prescribed Synthroid. I had an allergic reaction. Then she put me on Armor. I had an allergic reaction. I am now on Compound Thyroid. The health of my thyroid is maintaining and I have no side effects. Compound meds have saved my life and have given me quality life. There is a very important place for them in this world.

I was taking oral estrogen. I have PCOS. I went to a new doctor because my old doctor retired. My new doctor put me on bi-est compound cream because she wanted to avoid blood clots, then I had a hysterectomy. She kept me on the bi-est cream that I rub in my arm every day. So far, so good. I so appreciate the fact that my doctor follows me closely with bloodwork regularly to make sure my dosage is appropriate to my body. Synthetic hormones would not give me this ability to be certain I am getting the exact proportions that are best for my bone health. I am beyond thankful for these bioidentical hormones. To see increases in bone density after so many years of bad Dexascans has given me so much hope for a stronger and healthier future.

cBHT has enhanced my quality of life! I tried to stop for two years and my memory was bad and my energy level was very horrible! I was not able to sleep and I had hot flashes. When I went back on the hormone my symptoms after while went away. I like my hormones has been good for my body.

I take liothyronine compounded for slow release instead of synthroid because it relives symptoms of hypothyroidism that synthroid could not, but I tried synthroid for years. Compounded T3 helps relive constipation, always feeling cold, hair growth, skin dryness, energy levels and easy weight gain. I have researched this topic and it seems some people have trouble converting t4 to t3 which is the active type of the hormone for metabolism. Bypassing t4, synthroid, and going directly to t3 is beneficial for me.

I started replacement with compounded biodenticals in my mid- forties for premenopausal symptoms and continued through menopause and continue even now on a daily basis. I will be 67 in April 2021.
