I felt like I was gradually losing myself to depression and body pain. Then I started taking Bioidentical Hormones. It was just after turning 50 years old when menopause hit. After a few months, I was less depressed and began to feel like myself again. I have now been taking Bioidentical Hormones for approximately 9 years. After a radical hysterectomy because of cancer, I was struggling with the SEVERE menopausal symptoms. My mental health was very poor.
I was placed on HRT which helped with some of my symptoms….I could function. After much research and trying regular HRT, (which did not help me at all) I finally found cBHT, vastly improving my quality of life. Before I started cHRT, my Hormones used all low and my Progesterone was practically nonexistent. I was completely run down and unable to have any decent quality of life. My mother had horrible osteoporosis and died after complications caused by it. Since I have been on cBHT I have always had excellent bone density test results and my health has significantly improved. Without them, I fear I would lose all of this because I would not want to risk the side affects and possible cancers that have been proven to be caused by the only other options out there.
I fear I will develop the same horrible osteoporosis that my mother had which will not only shorten my life but, in the immediate future, also lose my quality of life without them. Please do not pass any legislation against them. Please hear ALL the evidence for them.

I have been using natural hormones since I was 54 and now 75 years old. I have excellent health and use no pharmaceutical drugs. When I tell them how old I am, many people can't believe that I am 75. I have had no adverse reaction to the natural hormones as opposed to my brother-in-law who took pharmaceutical testosterone and almost died because it thickened his blood so much. I know other people who are taking natural hormones and none of them have had any adverse reaction.
