Because of fibroid tumors, my ovaries and uterus were removed around age 40. I was given hormone patches, but the effect of the drop in hormones was devastating. For years I did not function and did not care about anything. My sister noticed the difference and suggested additional hormone therapy and set me up with doctors in my area who implanted hormone pellets. I was immediately more energized, and had excitement and stability in my life. After calculating how many implantations I would have over the course of my life, I switched to bioidentical lozenges. Hormones provide mental and emotional stability as well as increased physical fitness. All I have to do is miss several doses or look at others my age that are not on hormone therapy, to see the huge difference that health hormones make in my life.

Hormone replacement therapy has positively impacted my life in ways I never knew possible. I began HRT at the age of 25 because of low progesterone. My symptoms included panic attacks, feelings of sadness, and extreme anxiety that I could not understand. After my doctor tested my hormone levels from a saliva test, she discovered my progesterone levels were low. She put me on a small dose of progesterone cream and I feel like a completely brand new person. I don't cry or feel anxious. I got my life back. Please do not take these away. Even young women like myself benefit greatly from HRT.
