I have used cBHT for approximately 15 years. Before I began to use cBHT, I was so fatigued and had so much joint pain at the age of 51, it was hard for me to function. The hot flashes and night sweats disrupted my daily life. It was so bad that I was having a hard time functioning at work and in my personal life. After starting cBHT, my hot flashes, night sweats and most importantly fatigue and joint pain went away. Due to cBHT, I have been able to lead a productive and active life. One year ago, my mother passed away, and due to geographical distance, I had to let my cBHT treatment lapse by one month longer than it should have. Unfortunately, the extreme joint pain and fatigue returned. However, when I received my cBHT treatment again, my joint pain and fatigue went away. I have had no side effects with cBHT. I know Big Pharma says it is not safe, but this type of treatment has been used in Europe, Japan and Australia since the late 1930's with great results and little to no side effects. My career has been in the pharmaceutical industry and I am well aware of why they are against cBHT. It is because it uses natural ingredients that cannot be patented so they have no interest in a product that can't be patented and a large amount of money made off of it. The company I had worked for in the Pharma world openly admitted to us as employees that there were many natural cures for various illnesses but would not be researched and brought to market because of the lack of ability to patent them and make money off of them. I think it is very critical that consideration should be given to Big Pharma's real opposition to cBHT's - they can't patent cBHT's and therefore cannot make large amounts of money. cBHT's have studies going on now that are showing promise in Alzheimer's and many other health related fields. I ask of who is reading this that you will reject Big Pharma's misleading claims and false information they are making and do your separate non bias research. I ask that you please take a stand for cBHT's. Thank you for your time.

My testosterone was undetectable and my progesterone was also extremely low before starting on cBHT. I had little energy, extreme anxiety and was barely sleeping. Today, all this has greatly improved. I have energy, sleep much better and am not overcome with anxiety. Without them, I would be in a very bad place.

Without it, I have severe depression and no energy at all. I actually was suicidal prior to finding this treatment. I can tell when I need a new pellet by the way I feel and how my thoughts get off track. I find it interesting that hormone therapy is covered by insurance if you are a male, but not if you are female.

From the age of 24, I have struggled with hormone issues. It has affected every aspect of my life in a negative way, including causing infertility, depression, anxiety, and hopelessness. That is ... until I discovered compounded hormone therapy. While I need to visit the doctor yearly to re-evaluate the dosage, is the the ONLY thing that has helped alleviate my symptoms. These therapies make me go from not wanting to get up in the morning to a productive member of society. I'm only 42. Please don't take away something that can make my life better. Many who say "it's just hormones" don't understand the huge impact they have on the human body. My insurance already doesn't cover it, now don't take it out of my life completely. Please, I'm asking, reconsider. Give us the right to keep our medications.

I had a complete hysterectomy at age 39 and was put on a low dose hormone patch. After developing blood clots in my lungs, the only form of HRT I was allowed was vaginal cream, initially being Premarin. Without HRT, I had been suffering from dryness, painful sex, frequent UTI's and severe vaginitis. For years, even with Premarin, I still continued to suffer from severe periodic vaginal burning which made me miserable and often unable to sleep. I switched to Vagifem and Estrace but still experienced the horrible symptoms. Finally I was told I may be allergic to ingredients in the base of these products (alcohol & glycerin, for example). I found a compounding pharmacy which gave me an Estradiol cream in a hypoallergenic base and my vaginal burning finally disappeared. I had my life back.
I need this product to stay comfortable, keep UTI's at bay, and hopefully continue to avoid needing surgery for prolapse which has developed over the years. Until I can buy a vaginal hormone cream through Walgreens, etc., that is hypoallergenic and doesn't contain ingredients like alcohol and glycerin, I need to have this resource from my compounding pharmacy in order to avoid health problems which would be very detrimental to my overall health. I implore the FDA to not impose restrictions on compounding pharmacies which would deny me a product I need and cannot obtain elsewhere.

I struggled with infertility for years and had to use infertility drugs to get pregnant all three times. I also was on many forms of birth control from my freshman year of high school until I got married. After the birth of my children, I was a complete mess. My moods were unstable. I could no longer wear a tampon as it was too painful and so was sex. I believe a ton of women would benefit from hormones as I think when providers hear unstable moods the first thing they think of is antidepressants or other medications to prescribe. I have been on hormones since 2010 and I will not be able to go off of them. I refuse to go back to that horrible way I felt. My current regime has been perfect with no side effects at all. Please keep cBHT available as my quality of life depends on it.

I went through several prescribed pharmaceutical HRT drugs that did not help me. I struggled with them for a couple of years. I decided to try a compounded formula and everything fell into place and my body is in balance with great results. I don't like to take prescription drugs due to sometimes long list of side effects. I prefer to take homeopathic over anything else. I take homeopathic for other health issues to avoid harmful side effects. Please don't take our right away to use these methods.

Before I started using cBHT, I was experiencing multiple daily hot flashes that were interrupting my sleep and making me unable to function normally. It was difficult to concentrate at work and I was getting depressed.
I was apprehensive regarding hormone replacement having heard about ties to cancer, but having an option like cBHT, where dosage was specifically tailored to my needs, has been a godsend. Although hot flashes still occur, I am able to get a good night's sleep and function like a normal human being, instead of a sleep-deprived zombie. I'm also comforted knowing I am not taking any more medication (as with a pre-packaged pharmaceutical hormone replacement) than my body needs.
