cBHT has given me back my strength and vitality! I feel and look 10 years younger. I am enjoying all aspects of life more than I was before taking these hormones. I am taking a very low dose and feel completely safe. I would be really devastated if they were not available to me. I pay for them out of pocket. I believe that they should be covered by all insurances and be available to all women as soon as they become perimenopausal.

When I got this note from my compounding pharmacy I was absolutely stunned and very upset! I am just starting to feel better and the FDA is thinking of restricting this? Why? It is so important to so many women, especially women who have had previous diseases. It has less danger than regular estrogen. I feel it such a better alternative to hormones. Please do not take this from us. Menopause is a really hard time for women. Having a better safer alternative is very beneficial with all menapausal women. My experience so far with this has been amazing. Please don't take our one thing that helps us feel someone normal during a awful time of life.

I had very serious menopausal symptoms that were affecting my quality of life. I couldn't sleep or think, and had many sleepless (and sexless) nights, the hot flashes were very intense. My doctor suggested compound hormone replacement because it is made up especially for my body and personalized with each dose. We had to tweak it a few times to get it right, but once the formula was correct, I saw tremendous improvements in my life and body. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I prefer it because it is a more natural way to address my symptoms and is made especially for me. My quality of life (and my husbands and those around me!) would be greatly diminished if I did not have them.

I am 70 years young. I had a full hysterectomy at age 26. I was originally given premarin for hot flashes, night sweats, hair loss etc. After several years on pills had no relief. It was suggested I try bioidentical hormone cream about 30 years ago and I have never looked back. Words are not enough to say how much my mental, emotional and physical health have improved and continue to do so to this day! It would be a tragedy to NOT have these creams compounded by the experts at compounding pharmacies.

I was prescribed the commercial version of estradiol, but the base they used greatly aggravated my vulvadynia and I had terrible reactions to it. I suffered with pre-menopausal symptoms unnecessarily for years until a doctor referred me to a compounding pharmacy and, after some experimentation, they found something I could tolerate. Thank goodness for that doctor and that pharmacy, and thank goodness it was legal.

I spent a few years on an estrogen blocker and my primary side effects were joint aches, difficulty with concentration, and temporary hot flashes. When the estrogen blocker was eventually discontinued, the joint pain and foggy thinking remained. I have experienced significant improvement on compounded bi-Est even though the dosage is very low. My physician can choose a dosage that is geared and adjusted specifically for my needs with the lowest effective amount. He can make minute adjustments with unlimited choices, as far as I understand, so that the medication is custom made for me and my symptoms, if they change over time.
