cBHT has been a very "user-friendly" source of hormone replacement therapy for me. My wellness doctor monitors my hormone levels yearly to maintain or adjust dosage for me to stay in a healthy balance. The physical issues I had have improved greatly using my specific combination of bioidentical hormones. I have no noticeable side effects after years of using bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. I don't trust a "one-size fits all" approach to dosing. I recommend bioidentical hormone replacement to anyone needing replacement therapy, along with a knowledgeable, trained doctor to regularly monitor treatment and evaluate effectiveness.

Bioidentical hormones turned my life around. I had been suffering for a year with depression (and I never had depression until 51). Attempts at anti-depressants made it worse so I discontinued them. In about a week or two, after suffering for a year, the bioidentical hormones brought me back to myself. It was a miracle for me. I literally got my life back! I was so thankful to have found doctors who checked my hormone levels (and "vitamin" D levels too). I have had turnarounds in other aspects of my health. A year or so after beginning them, I stopped wearing glasses, no more aortic insufficiency after having it retested a few times, and got my libido back which had been totally gone. I believe there are positive impacts to health overall and may stop some of the negative effects of aging. If something is working so well, why interfere with it. I feel stronger and healthier now than in my 40's. I would be devastated!

Honestly, I was physically and emotionally a mess before beginning cBHT. I sleep better and have more energy, but the biggest change has been in my mood. In addition, the dsyautonomia and mast cell disorder causes me to be very sensitive to synthetic hormones. Earlier in my life I tried to use an implanted birth control and my body actually rejected it, causing horrible cramping and expulsion. My life is so much better with compounded bHRT!

Because I am female, and this hormone helps to regulate all aspects of my life, should the FDA restrict it's use, I fear I may have to take a manufactured drug or worse yet, an anti-depressant. Yes, I truly believe bioidentical hormones are a miracle compound that have prevented me from having mental health issues. Unlike other women my age, because of these hormones, I have escaped many problems that plague women taking manufactured drugs: irritability, loss of enjoyment in everyday activities, and depression. Additionally, I have experienced NO side effects from the bioidentical hormones. I know this is not necessarily the case with manufactured drugs. On behalf of all women and men using bioidentical hormones, I beg the FDA not to restrict the use of cBHRT; it has benefited my life and will continue to do so. After all, every person should be able to use the product that works best for the individual, not what is mass produced for millions and has the potential for side-effects. The use of a compounded hormone therapy (with estradiol) removed lesions in my cervix, led to passing PAP tests, improved the moisture in my vagina, and improved sexual relations. My compounding pharmacy always provides pharmacist instructions when picking up my prescription. The pharmacy is clean. Also, the cost is significantly cheaper than using a prescription from some place like Walgreens. I understand that this cream is not as dangerous as taking pills. Please allow the use of this cream to continue!
