Transitioning safely with better results!

I transitioned from male to female in 2013 (via gender reassignment surgery), and immediately sought out compounded hormones because of the safer route they provide to normal orally ingested hormones that fully pass through the liver/kidneys and affect the body more severely and chemically than the compounded torches. I also feel strongly that the side effects are less, especially the long term effects of taking hormone therapy, and as I need to supplement my hormones the rest of my life, that is definitely a concern of mine. I practice yoga regularly, and am a licensed facilitator as well as a staunch believer in Ayurveda and a more organic and subtle approach to health management, and can’t imagine having to go back on chemical estrogen/progesterone…I think it is more likely I will relocate to Europe again. Thank you!

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.

Explore our interactive map that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to patients all across the country. Filter these first-hand accounts by state to see just how vital compounded medicines are.
