I could not live a normal life with the hot flashes I suffered after being taken off estrogen. I suffered for one and a half years before I was introduced to hormone replacement therapy from a compound pharmacy.

I had a hysterectomy at 46 and suffered with severe post-menopausal symptoms. I have been on bioidentical hormones since age 47 and it has greatly enhanced my life. I had issues with hot flashes, bone loss, depression, decreased sex drive, weight gain, and brain fog. This all was relieved with the bioidentical hormones, managed by my physician. I did not have any risk factors to keep me from taking the hormones. If these hormones are taken off the market, this will cause millions of women to suffer with symptoms that can be managed with this medication. Why would you take something off the market that is helping women live a normal life?

cBHT has changed my life! I had a hysterectomy at the age of 42. My husband thought he'd have to pack his bags and leave with my terrible mood swings, and bouts of crying. I thought I was DYING, until I found a doctor who helped me. I told so many women about them and it has changed their lives, too! I think it is HORRIBLE how BIG PHARMA wants to take something away that is SO valuable to so many. If their wife or daughter needed it, I bet they'd care!

Before taking the hormones, I was unable to fall asleep at night. I also had a lot of aching joints and tiredness and hot flashes. Once I started taking them, I felt like a new person and was very happy again. I'm 69 years old and I feel like I'm 20 years younger.

In November 2019, I switched from oral Estradial to an estriol compound. I was skeptical from the start. In fact, I was prepared for the bioidentical hormones to not be as effective as the "real" ones. But, I was motivated to stop using the oral estrogen because it passes through the liver and therefore is more toxic to the body. It took about two months for me to get the right dose of the compounded estrogens and when I did, it seemed to work even better than the estradial to prevent nights sweats, clear my mind of fog, and help my skin feel soft and supple. I would be really upset if I had to go back to a more toxic version of estrogen because the FDA did not allow compound pharmacies to make products that do not pass through the liver on the way to delivering their benefits.

cBHT has always helped me out! I've never had problems with my cBHT medicine.

I no longer have hot flashes or crazy mood swings. I feel it has kept me feeling and looking younger than my age. I have few wrinkles and sagging skin and still have a lot of energy.

I suffered from severe vaginal dryness due to a hysterectomy along with frequent urinary tract infections. After taking cBHT, both conditions have greatly improved. My life has improved greatly as there is no more severe vaginal burning and pain which sent me to the emergency room several times.

I have never had any type of hormonal/mental issues at all until after menopause. At that time, I started having mood swings and crying for no reason; both highly uncharacteristic. My PCP recommended cBHT and it has made me feel normal again.

After a few weeks on the bioidenticals, all of my symptoms disappeared and I was back to normal. Bioidentical hormones brought me back to normal! It has been such a relief to get back to my old self. I hate to think that this safe, natural and effective non-synthetic medication could be taken away from me, particularly because my younger sister died from breast cancer and my mom died from lymphoma. I am extremely careful about taking medications. Bioidentical hormones not only make me feel like my old self, they give me peace of mind because they are natural. I seriously hope I will be able to maintain the quality of life these bioidentical hormones, dispensed through my compounding pharmacy, Pinellas Compounding Pharmacy, have afforded me. I went through many months of feeling out of sorts, not being able to sleep well and having pretty bad stomach distress, not to mention the many medical tests and examinations I endured before finding a cure. Please do not prevent me from having the quality of life that I have been able to maintain through bioidentical hormone therapy.

I began bioidentical HRT at the suggestion of my OBGYN, after I completed a saliva analysis. These results suggested to my doctor that I could be helped with my symptoms of being premenopausal. In fact, the creams did decrease my symptoms. I have continued on different forms of this therapy for 20 years. Of course, I have continued to monitor what level of HRT therapy is right for me at different times in my life. I believe that this level of individualized care has aided me in being as healthy and functional as I now am. I have heard many stories from my patients who have either used non-bioidentical pills and/or pellets. I feel fortunate to have doctors that understand the value of this form of treatment/supplementation.

It would be a crime to not allow this kind of compounding.

I am a totally different person when using the cream and pill. Without it, I am moody, difficult and feel worn down and exhausted. With it, I'm the person I've always been.

I was waking up every few hours at night with hot flashes, night sweats, and flashing throughout the day. My heart would race, making it difficult to get back to sleep. Lack of sleep impacted my ability to think clearly, perform my job, and overall quality of life. cBHT has enabled me to sleep better, balance my mood, reduce stress, and maintain my weight much better. I truly can't imagine living without it.

Over seven years ago, I had to have my ovaries, tubes, uterus and cervix removed due to severe medical issues and potential risks of cancer. Thus, the need for hormone replacement therapy. I will never take a pharmaceutical version of hormone therapy.

Before I started cBHT, I could not have sex at all. My muscle tone had diminished and I had no energy. Everything has changed since I started my hormone therapy. I can now have sex that is not excruciating and my body and mind are healthier and happier! I would NOT want to use synthetic hormones, especially Premarin, as it is so abusive to female horses and their offspring. I am a cancer survivor and ONLY want to use bioidentical hormones! They have changed my life for the better!

I have way more energy, less joint discomfort, and am sleeping much better

I had terrible anxiety and sweats; my job was at risk. I need to fly on planes, present programs in front of customers, and travel by myself. I started to experience these negative problems and could not fly, or do my job effectively. I was a mess. My doctor put me on the compounded troches for hormone replacement and the symptoms started to reside. I was able to go back on a plane and do my job. I need the compounding to be perfect for my body and not a generic tablet. Please do not take that away from us for our physical, emotional and mental state of mind.
