The pill form was not well absorbed enough to be effective and the patch had an ingredient that made me sick. The only method that works for me is compounding hormones. I would hate to think of the symptoms I would suffer if it was no longer available. I am worried about the effect on my work and home life if I had to suffer the symptoms of menopause without help from cBHT.

cBHT has greatly improved my overall health and wellness. With balanced hormones, my sleep patterns are no longer disrupted by multiple hot flashes and night sweats which were causing tremendous stress throughout the night and into my waking hours. For the FIRST time in many years I SLEPT all night through! I continue to sleep all night, every night, like a baby! I am SO GRATEFUL! PLEASE! Don't anyone dare take these products away from me!

I am almost 68 years old. cBHT has had a positive effect on my overall well-being. It also eliminated pain upon intercourse and made a great improvement on my overall ability of my body to function sexually.
I put a high value on the personalized accurate doses of the different hormones that can be adjusted after each blood test. I do not like the one-size-fits-all pharmaceutical hormones that are available. We are all different individuals with different needs and balancing the different kinds of hormones and ratios is very important to me. So I would really hate to lose this mode of treatment. I do not believe that the FDA has the best interest of people in mind. They have people working for them that benefit from Big Pharma etc. If the test shows that there is no harm, then I do not see why this should be eliminated. People know what works for them or not.

Back around 2012, I was feeling terrible...I was tired all of the time and I was achy. I began to believe a year or so later that maybe I had Fibromyalgia. I had been to the doctor several times and told him of my symptoms and he was a new doctor to me so I don't really think he believed me. Nothing was ever done about it. A couple of years later I heard an ad about compounded hormones and about that time I spoke with a childhood friend and mentioned to her how I was feeling and she told me about her experience with compounded HRT which as it turns out was similar to my results. I went to the doctor and told him I wanted him to do labs to check my hormone levels. His response when the results came in was "well, this is probably why you have been feeling so bad. All of your hormones are bottomed out." So I went over to my first compound pharmacy and they helped me figure out what I needed. Within a couple of weeks I felt like a BRAND NEW person. My hot flashes were pretty much gone and I just felt 20 years younger (I was about 56 years young at the time). I have been on compounded HRT since... I can't imagine them being taken away!

Since talking these replacements my mood swings have diminished, hot flashes have disappeared and I sleep much better. It would be incredibly frustrating and disappointing if these replacements were no longer available. I would not take ones that were not from a safe, natural base.

At first I was tested once a month and then three months and then six months until I had the dosage perfect. I couldn't have survived through this period without these hormones. I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Pathology reported it was not hormonal related. At that time I opted to only stay with progesterone and thyroid. Now both of those are tailor made for exactly what my body needs. I wouldn't sleep and have to resort to sleeping medication without the progesterone.
