“Relief from Debilitating Pelvic Pain”

My journey to relief with compounded hormones began in 2016, when I developed intermittent pelvic pain seemingly overnight. After significant testing, I was left with no answers and told that I would just have to deal with it. This pain got progressively worse to the point that there was not one minute that I wasn't in severe, debilitating agony that only opiate pain medication would relieve. Over time, I began experiencing other symptoms consistent with perimenopause which prompted my doctor to check my hormones. They discovered I was suffering from premature ovarian insufficiency.

My research led me to a urogynecologist and hormone specialist who prescribed compounded hormones for me. Within weeks, I felt brand new again! All my symptoms went away, and my pelvic pain was 95% better. I literally cried with relief and felt hope again for the first time, because I hadn't really believed the hormones would help that aspect of my suffering. With continued use of compounded hormones, I am functional again and can live a full life. I do occasionally have a pain flare, but they are mild and short-lived. I can honestly say compounded hormones saved my life as I would not have been able to continue on living with that level of pain.
