“Regaining my life!”

Hormone replacement therapy has made a huge difference in my life. Both my quality of life and my health have improved greatly. I could not maintain healthy cholesterol and blood pressure levels. I suffered from chronic fatigue. My sexual function had declined, blood sugar was becoming a real problem. Exercise and medication did not help, in fact just exercising was a real chore. Once I began hormone therapy all of these things began to come back in line. I now feel years younger and am able to continue in a way that is exceptionally healthy. The notion that this would somehow be taken away using some half baked study as the excuse angered me so much I both called and wrote my representative in Washington. I made the point that my health is not a business model. It is not a money making scheme. My health is not a cash cow to be used by the greedy morally perverse that would seek to do so. Why else would someone seek “ban” a treatment that works so well? She and I both agree that Doctors and patients should have the choice of their care and not be dictated to by government and big money interests.
