At first, I prescribed bHRT for women suffering when taken off Premarin and Progestin. Then I added children who for one or another reason fought to take their medications - taking in a lollypop was more happily taken. Finally, due to my husband's diagnosis of hereditary hemochromatosis and subsequent unavoidable low testosterone, I began providing bHRT to males. In each of these cases, I only send my prescriptions to pharmacists credentialed in Compounding Medications. I have had NO adverse effects ever reported to me that were not explained by dosage issues, easily rectified, and ultimately with anticipated and satisfying results.

My husband is unable to use pharmaceutical preparations of Testosterone. They either do not work or do not last for the prescribed period. Taking a daily Sublingual preparation which is bio-identical does work which means his testosterone can be kept at a low to normal range. He suffers from all the misery of low testosterone if he is without his bio-identical compounded preparation. It will be cruel and an infringement on the self-determination of our healthcare choices for you to make any government judgments regarding compounded medications.
