cBHT has positively affected my physical and emotional health in definitive ways. I have never been a fan of hormonal, oral contraceptives so I used them very little, choosing alternative options. After a few months I realized I'd made a terrible mistake (my husband and those closest to me realized it much sooner than I did, but I did not connect the dots as readily). My irritability, night sweats and hot flashes had returned with a vengeance. I returned to my doctor (whom I saw routinely every 6 months) to discuss my situation and we decided to do a full blood study of my hormone levels at that time and choose a course of treatment to resume ASAP. While I wasn't happy to still need these bioidentical hormones to be a more fully functioning human being, I was thrilled and relieved to have the option to make that return to life! I still hope that in the coming years I am able to discontinue my use of these hormones, but for now, I cannot imagine having to go without them. I know HRT would be a viable option, should I be forced to consider them, but my reluctance to them is so high I'm not sure I would choose to go that route which means that my life would be drastically altered in ways that would not be good for me or those around me. I prefer treating with an option that brings less risk to my health (bioidenticals) than increased risks associated with it (ie. increased risk of female related cancer(s). I'm praying I'm not put in the position to be forced to make that decision in the future.

It gives me a lot more energy and helps with depression. It has improved my overall well-being!

The benefits of cBHT on my life are significant. I've been using them for almost 10 years, and they have improved several aspects of my life. My mood and attitude have improved which is positive not only for myself, but also my family and my career. The aches and pains in my joints have been eliminated. My sleep has improved drastically. The relationship with my husband has improved because our sex life has been reignited and we have a much better more intimate connection. I can't imagine my life without using cBHT.

Large Pharma doesn't sell the Lozenge or Troche for testosterone. The lotion or gel transfers to my spouse, so the Lozenge was key and it's more affordable. Our local compound pharmacy is excellent. Please don't restrict their operation. I get a Px from my doctor, just like any other px.

I can't even begin to count how important cBHT is to me personally. My quality of life is the best since I was in my 20's. No more hot flashes, emotional roller coaster, migraines, my skin is better, and hair is healthier. I cannot take any synthetic drugs for menopause because they don't work and I react to all synthetic drugs they use out there. cBHT is freedom to me. No side effects. I have tried so many hormone replacement pills, patches etc. None that ever helped! They actually made things worse! Then my doctor recommended that I go in the direction of bioidentical hormone replacement. I also I did a lot of reading/research and felt this was something I needed to try. I began taking the compound BIEST/PROGEST as a suggestion from my family doctor for menopausal hormone replacement. I took it for several years and decided to stop. After about two weeks, I realized that I needed to take the compound and begin again. Even though insurance does not pay, I gladly pay for the compound.

This medication is a choice between a woman and her doctor and the government should stay of out of this. It is already bad enough that my insurance company will not pay for this safer alternative for me. I must pay out of pocket. I am not talking $1.00 or $2.00 dollars, I am talking about $100.00/month. Insurance companies pay for erectile dysfunction medication, but not to individually protect women and give them quality of life as they age. This is just more evidence of the inequality women have in society.

My doctor suggested cBHT as she said it would help with my bones as well as my sleep. I have not had my bones checked, but the cBHT is definitely helping my sleep.

I honestly don't know what I would do without cBHT in my life.
