I'm a two time cancer survivor and the many years of chemo destroyed my body's ability to produce hormones like testosterone. My doctor tried injections, pads, under the tongue, ointments and such. My testosterone numbers were all over the place with no consistency which caused other health problems. When we switched to compounded testosterone, my numbers stabilized right away and have stayed consistent for years. None of the other forms of testosterone therapy worked for me. The compounded testosterone is a blessing.

I am very grateful cBHT has been available. I have used it for 20+ years for pre menopausal, menopausal and post menopausal symptoms. I have tried OTC products with poor results. It has helped me in many ways: balance the effects of my hormones, minimized painful symptoms, assisted in improving the quality of my pelvic tissues, to enabling a comfortable sexual experience. I found increased mental focus and clarity with fewer emotional ups and downs. In general, my quality of live life mentally, emotionally and physically have all been improved more than the OTC products I have tried. Bioidentical HT has more directly zeroed in on the issues.

My experience with FDA approved hormone replacements versus compounded, is night and day. The compounded products are all natural, they work without side effects, and can be callibrated to what your body needs, as indicated by regular testing. I now eat a plant-based diet and now have an even better understanding of how the body is able to assimilate natural ingredients that are bioidentical. I am currently using an estrogen cream, with the dosing adjusted by how many clicks, based on test results, and a progesterone troche. The Premarin product, FDA approved, which was first pushed on women my age, proved to be dangerous. I have been using compounded products for probably 25 years, with peace of mind.

cBHT has been a very "user-friendly" source of hormone replacement therapy for me. My wellness doctor monitors my hormone levels yearly to maintain or adjust dosage for me to stay in a healthy balance. The physical issues I had have improved greatly using my specific combination of bioidentical hormones. I have no noticeable side effects after years of using bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. I don't trust a "one-size fits all" approach to dosing. I recommend bioidentical hormone replacement to anyone needing replacement therapy, along with a knowledgeable, trained doctor to regularly monitor treatment and evaluate effectiveness.

Bioidentical hormones turned my life around. I had been suffering for a year with depression (and I never had depression until 51). Attempts at anti-depressants made it worse so I discontinued them. In about a week or two, after suffering for a year, the bioidentical hormones brought me back to myself. It was a miracle for me. I literally got my life back! I was so thankful to have found doctors who checked my hormone levels (and "vitamin" D levels too). I have had turnarounds in other aspects of my health. A year or so after beginning them, I stopped wearing glasses, no more aortic insufficiency after having it retested a few times, and got my libido back which had been totally gone. I believe there are positive impacts to health overall and may stop some of the negative effects of aging. If something is working so well, why interfere with it. I feel stronger and healthier now than in my 40's. I would be devastated!
