I am a new person and very thankful for my testosterone therapy.

I started taking bioidentical HRT 10 years ago when I started hemorrhaging during my periods, something I had never done before. I was in the beginning stages of menopause. My iron was low along with my energy. Once my hormones were measured, I only needed one hormone to balance what I was missing. Taking the one correct hormone prevented me from having a medical surgery, ablation. Over the years I have been getting measured and of course, needing more hormones and keeping them balanced. Over the last 10 years, I am in full menopause. My hormone gas tank is empty and unbalanced. Each year I am measured and then meet what my body is missing, balanced. I feel so much better! I am not like the ladies that chose to tough menopause out and that ended up with surgery due to bleeding, or super dry skin, osteoporosis or because they were angry all of the time. I tried the common expensive vaginal pill "vagifem" that my family doctor recommended, and it did not help at all. The hormone specialist recommended a compounded vaginal cream. It actually worked, unlike the well known "vagifem" that did nothing. I have been very pleased and happy with the compounded hormones that I have been using for the past 10 years. I get results. My husband is happy too.

I had a total hysterectomy followed by a bladder lift in 2001/2002. I refused to take estrogen as it caused cancer in my grandmother. When I learned about biodentical hormone treatment from my OB/GYN that could be formulated to my specific needs, I asked to do so. I have a compound that includes testosterone for energy/strength and DHEA for stress, increased brain function, protection against insulin resistance, and general well-being. I cannot buy this compound over the counter, and I cannot get this prescription from a regular pharmacy other than a compound pharmacy who creates a specific amount of ingredients for MY specific body requirements. I did without the biodentical hormones for a short while when I couldn't afford it, and had adrenal fatigue. My blood tests showed I was severely lacking in hormones necessary for my good health. Since I don't have ovaries, my body produces no hormones. I'm lucky to have an OB/GYN who led me to the compound pharmacy route. Its very expensive for me, but its a life saver. Please do NOT limit or worse, ban compound pharmacies! Thank you for your cooperation in keeping options open for all of us.

I am highly allergic to the standard prescriptions. I needed the HRT to have any quality of life. I needed a smaller dose than I could get from standard prescriptions. I work with the general public and before HRT, I could be happy one second and crying the next. I couldn't sleep, felt lethargic and overall not good. HRT has changed my life for the better. I can't imagine not having this available.

It has made a wonderful difference in my life. I have osteopenia and had lots of post-menopausal problems. I cannot take oral estrogen. If compounded vaginal estrogen is no longer available, I and many other women will suffer.

Prior to testosterone pellets and oral compounded progesterone therapy, I was on Ambien, antidepressants and at one time took Adderall. With testosterone pellets, I have been able to stop all of these medications. I can't sleep or function without this type of therapy. I have also reversed my insulin resistance.

I strongly believe in compounding because it's a natural approach to medicine and the side effects are greatly reduced.

I find that it has been an excellent mood stabilizer. It has boosted my energy but, most importantly, the program has successfully transitioned me through menopause without any physical and emotional issues. It has been an incredible experience. I wish every woman could have access to this organic compound. Please do not allow special interest groups to shut compound activities down, leaving only inferior synthetic options. It would be an immense disservice to women who could benefit from this extraordinary alternative to transitioning through menopause.

I started hormone therapy a couple of years ago with the bio T implanted pellet. After the pellet took affect, I noticed a difference in my energy level, my mood, my skin and after a year my bone density scan showed that I was in better shape than when I had to scan three prior. I believe natural hormone replacement therapy is a great way to maintain an active lifestyle and avoid the conditions like osteoporosis that plague people as they get older. I feel strongly that as Americans we need the freedom to choose these things and not be limited by what the FDA wishes to provide us. This therapy I pay for out-of-pocket and in no way affects any kind of insurance or retirement benefit I have.

HRT has made a huge difference in my life since I already suffer from depression. Having menopausal symptoms threw my mental and physical health out of whack. The pharmacists were able to find out my levels and devised a prescription that has helped me feel so much better physically and mentally. HRT has definitely improved the quality of my life.

Menopausal hormone imbalances caused me to have untreatable high blood pressure. I am in good shape, eat healthy and am not overweight, yet my blood pressure was averaging 220/120 with medication. I was also taking manufactured hormone therapy. After switching to compounded hormone therapy, my blood pressure has become manageable.

I am a 73 year old retired teacher, and of course, I have bad days. Before Covid-19, I volunteered at the Arts Council, played bridge every Wednesday, took art classes and went to Pilates once or twice a week. That's quite a change from staying home and barely making it through the day. My body felt like it was electrically charged with pain. Sleeping was difficult. Sadly it was sleep I needed to combat the Fibromyalgia. I was exhausted and could hardly manage my daily and social life because of so much all over body pain. I was a very depressed crabby woman. My health is complicated. I have: Addisons Disease, Acid Reflux, Asthma, Coronary Artery Disease, Fibromyalgia, Osteoporsis, Osteoarthriitis, and Polymyalgia Rheumatic-a. I had Rosacea of the eyes and mites on my eyelashes. cBHT made those irritating problems disappear in a matter of days. Premerin did not help with dryness. Sex was impossible. I do not want to return to a time without cBHT, when I'll be like my grandmother. She was in pain every day in her later years. I have had wishes to die, just to get away from my body, the exhaustion and pain. Please don't shut down compound pharmacies. Women like me need cBHT to survive.

cBHT has made my quality of life better in so many ways. It has balanced my hormones in a natural way; and in doing so, it has helped my depression, my anxiety, and my sleep. When I tried to go off of my cBHT, my depression returned. I cried daily for no reason. If cBHT was not available to me anymore, it would greatly affect my life in a very negative way. I feel healthier when on cBHT, both physically and mentally; I feel so much more balanced.

I would wake up 4 to 5 times a night in a pool of sweat and still have to go to work in the morning. I would have insomnia and terrible headaches. Once I was on the bioidentical cream, I felt like a normal human again. I tried the pills for a while, but my symptoms returned quickly. Any time I have gone off of the cream, my symptoms returned. As long as I am on the cream I have a great life. I'm sure that if you have been through this, you would not like to see it removed.

I have energy again and feel alive and well.

Has helped with my quality of life both physically and mentally, without having to use synthetic forms of medication- as I am highly sensitive.

My wife uses cBHT and had such a good response to it that I decided to try it myself because I was lacking in my sex drive, energy and strength. I feel like a man again. Love it.
