“My bioidentical hormone treatment has changed my life for the better!”

After spending most of my adult life in psychotherapy I met a new physician that asked me if I'd ever had my hormones checked...I had not. After the blood work came back it was like everything made sense. I had zero testosterone in my body which led to many emotional issues that were fixed almost immediately after starting bioidentical hormone therapy. I could sleep, I had an appetite (also a major issue), I didn't cry at every commercial on TV. I felt normal! And have continued to feel empowered and in charge of my health since this discovery. The issues around getting my hormones covered by my insurance were such a hassle and of course no coverage. I feel this therapy if supported by the government and insurance companies could save so many from misguided help to their issues. It would create havoc on my body if they were longer available to me. The FDA will approve cancer-causing ingredients in almost everything we consume and now this? If regulated through a doctor, blood work done regularly, this therapy could honestly change our world for the better. Not only will I do anything as far as testifying in front of the FDA but would also like to be a part of making hormone therapy more accessible to Americans. It's not just for menopause....it's LIFE!
