Menopause for me was a nightmare. Beyond the usual extreme hot flashes and night sweats, the mental confusion was the worst. I would sometimes wind up somewhere and wonder why I was there. My husband made the comment you are getting scary and it was true- life was getting scary for me as my memory was so fuzzy and I would feel disoriented at times. I tried conventional hormone replacement which helped somewhat but it was when my hormones became balanced with bioidentical hormone therapy that I my husband would tell you that he got his wife back. Please do not throw me back into the chaos and crisis that I lived in without bioidentical hormone therapy.
