“Life was unbearable, until...”

I was unable to sleep, unable to focus completely miserable. Nothing seemed to work for me. The bio indentical hormones prescribed by my doctor have made such a huge difference. I sleep better, I am not constantly too hot or cold, my memory is more clear. All this and for me personally, I have had no side effects as I did with the synthetic hormones. I had no prejudice against synthetic hormones until I took them and was made so dizzy and nauseated I could not sit or stand up. There were also the horrible blinding headaches that would not go away no matter what I took. I tried multiple times to change the brand and dosage but to no avail. I recognize that because these hormones are not altered they are not patentable. This seems to be an issue for certain lobbyists of large pharmaceutical companies. It's terrible to think that because of the greed of a few, millions of people will not be allowed to get the treatment that works for them. The treatment that makes life livable again. If only the pharmaceutical industry would simply start making these hormones in their own trademarked combinations or get out of the way and allow the market to function properly. It's not enough for them that they also lobby the insurance companies causing these hormones to not be covered or only a tiny percentage to be covered. I wish for once the government would do the right thing and stay out of health care. Their track record thus far is abysmal. Please do not remove the one hope so many people have for a normal life.
