I was prescribed bioidentical hormones because I have suffered very severe hormonal migraines my entire life. Although it has not helped yet with my migraines like I was hoping, it has helped me in other ways that no other medication could do and I have tried tons of prescribed medications. I am finally sleeping through most nights outside of my hormonal migraines, my heavy flow has decreased, my anxiety is much better and my sex drive is more normal. No sleeping medication has ever helped my insomnia, anxiety meds made me feel worse, and my body rejected being on the pill. I felt the best in my life when I was pregnant and cBHT allows me to mimic higher hormone levels that my body is struggling to do on its own. As a person who has tons of struggles with medications, including anaphylactic shock from a nausea med, it is a life saver to take something more natural for my body. My body rejects taking an oral form of cBHT, but the troche allows me a different way to get it into my system. It would be very frustrating if restrictions were put on cBHT as it's the one thing that has helped some of my medical issues. The only negative side effect for me has been weight gain in the belly, but I will take that over not sleeping.
