I was in the worst hormone hell with 40 extra lbs on me, severe perimenopause, severe PMS and sleep apnea (77 episodes of not breathing overnight). My gynocologest put me into estrogen dominance twice. A saliva test showed that I had so much in my system which was causing all the negative symptoms. It took a long time to get a good balance, but at 69 and 140 lbs, plus teaching pilates for 17 years, I'm doing great. I take my troche every night without fail along with my capsule of progesterone. PLEASE DON'T LET THEM STOP MAKING COMPOUNDED HORMONES. I wouldn't last long without them. I want my "quality of life" to remain the same.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
