I was diagnosed with osteopenia and have been taking compounded progesterone in order to balance my hormones and further bone loss. I did not want to take normal synthetic hormone therapy, therefore my doctor prescribed cBHT. I have been taking cBHT for over 10 years and plan to continue for the rest of my life. I feel confident that cBHT I am taking will not give me the adverse side effects that synthetic HT would give. I feel healthy on the cBHT as I know it matches my own hormones and they provide me the healthiest and best balance in hormonal therapy. My bone density scans have improved and I am not having any more bone loss. I believe this would be a tragedy if I would not be able to receive cBHT any more due to lack of accessibility! Please do not pass a bill that will restrict access to cBHT.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
