I started on Progesterone back in 2004 because of PMS. I increased it as I approached menopause. It helped me with emotional issues and I drifted through menopause smoothly. I had ups and downs, then knew I needed estriol, then testosterone. I could feel the difference in a couple days with going on estriol as far as depression and moods. Same with testosterone. My sisters had a hard time with menopause and bled so bad they were bedridden. I did not have that at all. I had a period end of February 2007 and two weeks later one more and was done. NO issues. I tell you the only time i had issues when I was starting menopause and didnt know it, and i was being cheap and not getting Progesterone every month. I skipped and the phamacist i had here in town before i went to mail order, told me don't increase it, you are not buying it every month, you are every other month. No wonder I was an emotional mess. I started being consistant taking it, and then I balanced out. I will not be without it. And now I pay for all three hormones out of my own pocket because insurance won't pay. I can get the patch or pills, but I feel this is safer. Thank God for these compounding hormones. If I pay for this myself, then what is the issue?

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
