I have been taking cBHT since I was in my early 50's. I am now 68 years old. The form of cBHT that I take, and have always taken, is The Wiley Protocol. It is a system of putting estradiol cream on one arm every day and progesterone cream on the other arm over a two week period, in varying sequencing throughout the menstrual cycle or lunar month. When I first started the cBHT, I was having hot flashes about every 30 minutes. When I say "hot flashes", I mean I would become soaking wet with sweat. I also had severe dry eye syndrome that I was taking two prescription medications for, plus over the counter eye drops, and had two plugs put into my tear ducts to try to retain moisture in my eyes. I also had very low libido and sex was painful, even using lubricant and the skin in my vagina often felt "ripped" or irritated after intercourse. Within a couple of weeks on the BHT, my hot flashes disappeared, never to return again. Three months after I started the BHT, one of my eyes started watering badly. When I went to the eye doctor, she said that it was because I had the plug in my tear duct and the other one had fallen out. She asked if I had recently started taking hormones. I said yes, and she told me that as my estrogen was now normalized, my body was now secreting a good amount of fluids to my eyes. She removed the plug, I stopped taking the medications and have never had dry eyes again. The fluid in my vaginal area also improved as well as my libido, and at age 68, my husband and I continue to have an active sex life. Please continue to support cBHT. My personal health and wellbeing depend on your support. Feel free to contact me. I would be happy to testify.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
