I got my life back

Im a 35 year old, busy, working mom of two. I work for a hospital and unfortunately do not have the best insurance coverage. I have an extremely high deductible which makes affording medications extremely difficult for the average person on a middle class income.
I was at my highest weight at 32 years old. Every single lab marker was abnormal. I was on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I then discovered GLP-1 medications. Unfortunately I cannot afford brand name and thank God compounded medication is more affordable. I am down 69lbs to this day and every single lab of mine is currently within normal range! My liver enzymes, My insulin level and my cholesterol all normal!
I will forever be grateful that I was able to acceas compounded GLP-1 medications and I truly hope that affordable access does not end.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
