I give full credit to cBHT to improving my life.

For at least a decade or more before menopause, I had decided I would not take hormone replacements because all I ever heard and saw was how women who took them developed breast cancer. When my practitioner mentioned cBHTs to me I was initially opposed to the idea because I didn't know there was a difference between synthetic and bioidentical hormone replacement. After listening to my practitioner and looking into it myself I decided to give it a try. I AM SO GRATEFUL I DID! I've been on them now for about 2 years during which time my sleep and energy levels have both improved. This has had the subsequent effect of also improving my general mood, outlook, and productivity. I am grateful to have the choice to use cBHTs as an option for how I see best to direct my health care. To take this option away from me (and everyone else) would be to directly and intentionally harm me (and everyone else) who have found cBHTs to work well and cause no harm.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.

Explore our interactive map that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to patients all across the country. Filter these first-hand accounts by state to see just how vital compounded medicines are.
