I experienced early onset menopause at the age of 40. My doctor prescribed premarin, which I took for several years. I had several adverse effects, including vaginal discharge, headaches and depression. When I started cBHT it was truly life changing. No side effects, I just felt really good again for the first time in years. I'm also at high risk for osteoporosis, so my primary physician feels that it is beneficial to continue the compounded medication. I have a saliva test done annually to make sure that the hormones are balanced, and they are adjusted as needed. Please continue to let cBHT be available. It is safer and better monitored than the chemical equivalents.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
