“I began having issues with birth control in my late 20's...”

I began having issues with birth control in my late 20's and ended up having to stop. Several years later I developed issues related to hormones and took bioidentical hormones off and on to help. Now at 46, I have very low levels of all hormones. I was accidentally prescribed synthetic progesterone which made me ache all over, feel like I had a bladder infection, and night sweats which I wasn't having prior, and even ran a fever. I also had some compounding pharmacies use fake hormone replacement cream and add the bioidentical hormones to it. This, again, made me sick sometimes with rashes and digestive issues. FINALLY... I found a PA and a pharmacy that uses pure bioidentical hormones and I feel a thousand times better. I was bleeding through my jeans, in pain, not sleeping, bleeding for weeks, had anxiety and even panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, exhaustion, fuzzy thinking, bloating, weight gain and now... I have little of any of these. I sleep, I play, I can get through the day, and I am able to work and have relationships. My life is so much better. There are not words that express how much better I feel. I am getting my life back.
