I am a breast cancer survivor. When I entered menopause almost 15 years ago, my OBGYN started me on Premarin and then added Prem-Pro a year later. After taking Premarin and Prem-pro for almost two years, I developed metastatic breast cancer. After several surgeries, chemo, and radiation, I have been cancer-free for over six years. After my life-changing experience with breast cancer, I had debilitating hot flashes, night sweats, decreased libido, vaginal dryness, and my husband was about to ask for a divorce. After a visit with my local compounding pharmacist who consulted with my OBGYN, Oncologist, and Radiational Oncologist, my compounding pharmacist created a compound with Natural Estriol, Progesterone, and testosterone. This combination of hormones has been a lifesaver for me, my body, and my marriage. If these "life-saving" medications are taken away from me, I do not know what I would do. My life as I know it would be over. I beg you, do not take away my access to my hormones.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
