“I am a 45 year old woman taking HRT medication”

I am a 45 year old woman, and have been taking HRT medications (topical progesterone, and oral DHEA) for the past 9 years. These medications have SIGNIFICANTLY improved my quality of life, and I cannot bear the thought of life without them. When I was 36 I was having major issues with symptoms of 1) anxiety 2) sleeplessness 3) low libido and sexual sensitivity and 4) very low energy and strength just to "get through" the day and do normal activities. I sought out medical advice, and my doctor recommended I have my hormones tested via saliva sample. My progesterone level was nearly non-detectable, and my DHEA level was very low. So I added these hormones into my regimen immediately and for nearly the past 10 years I have experienced: 1) NO more issues with anxiety 2) significantly improved sleep 3) increased sex drive and improved sexual sensitivity during sex 4) significantly increased energy levels which allows me to exercise and lead a healthy and active lifestyle, and a thriving career I am a Global Director for an international food company, and with the help of HRT I have been able to lead a very active and successful career, traveling domestically and internationally to support our many food production facilities to include China, Germany, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Missouri, South Dakota, Idaho and many more. I ask that you please please please consider the improved quality of life of individuals like myself who benefit significantly from compounded hormone replacement therapy, and how imposing restrictions on HRT could very negatively impact users like myself, both today and in the years to come.
