“I am 54 years old. I went through menopause at 50.”

I am 54 years old. I went through menopause at 50. My quality of life had started to decline from there. I had seen three different doctors explaining my symptoms and told them it all started after I stopped having a menstrual cycle. One of the doctors was an OBGYN. I was prescribed more pharmaceutical medications then I could list in this testimonial and wasn't getting any better. I started seeing a new doctor about a year ago. He was the only one that did lab work to test my hormone levels. I should mention that at one point I had even asked one of the other doctors to run those labs and they dismissed my request and just handed out more pills; many of those being antidepressants. My issues were not from depression. I was feeling depressed because I wasn't feeling well and no one was helping me. When my test results came back it was showing that things were so out of balance it was a miracle I was even functioning at any level. Since then I have been receiving Hormone Therapy in the form of a compounded vaginal cream. It has been a long journey and I have need the doses adjusted several times. My dose can be adjusted by a lot or maybe the very slightest but it's all taken care of with a phone call from my doctor. I am devastated to think that this form of treatment maybe taken from me. Please don't let that happen, keep people like myself who have suffered and lost years of our lives in mind before make this decision. Thank You for your time and listening to my story.
