Following a full hysterectomy...

Following a full hysterectomy, I had no success with conventional estrogen treatments. My GYN prescribed Estradiol drops, compounded. This was in 1992, and I am still using them today. Since 1992, I have had 2 bad falls and sustained no broken bones. Attending physicians said my bones were in remarkable shape, and attributed it to the Estradiol treatment. I am currently seeing an orthopedic surgeon for hip and low back issues. He tells me my hips are in remarkable shape for my age, 73 years old. Without my Estradiol, I have headaches and lack of energy. They are essential to my daily lifestyle. PLEASE do not take them away from me!

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
