Early Menopause

When I went into early menopause after a bad tubal ligation surgery at 39 I thought I was going to lose my mind.
I couldn't sleep, I gained weight, and I couldn't think.
I went to Dr. Amy Brenner's office near my house and started taking compounded progesterone and testosterone every day. I was able to sleep and feel sane again.
The blood work I had before the hormones were out of whack. But after taking hormones my levels are normal and they indicate that I am not in menopause. I am 49 now and if these medicines are taken from me I might as well die.
I won't be able to cope without them.

Hear their stories. Protect their own words. Protect their access to compounded medicines.

On this page, we can only touch on the data that demonstrates the importance of compounded medicines to the lives of millions of people in this country. While the decision to take this vital therapy from patients and physicians might be profitable for big pharmaceutical companies, it will be disastrous for the millions of patients that those same pharmaceutical companies cannot serve!

We encourage the appropriate committees in both the House and Senate to hold hearings on this critical issue.
